ANV Key Campaign

A bit late notice on the devs' part, but according to this devpost, Dial Key #ANV's special loot pool has not been updated since being added and will not be updated/changed ever. Other than the special loot pool it is identical to an SP Gobbie Key.

So, can you get shards/void from SP Gobbie? Never done SP since shards added.

If not, then they have added to ANV keys special loot.

I have gotten multiple shards from the goblin, got a headshard sam yesterday. Have not seen any voids tho.

They have definitely lowered the shard/void box drop rate.

Was pulling 1 every 20 keys or less before the april update, now I'm getting less than 1 every 100 keys. just blew another 250 keys, and actually got -zero- shards/voids.

I'm curious if it is a time period or a number of keys turned in by a particular character that triggers the decrease in drop rate. I noticed it after the first week but I turn in a lot of keys. I noticed the same trend when su3 gear was released. Dropped a ton to start, then very rarely.

I like to pretend that once you get an item it can never "drop again" so we got 220 possible drops out of the 20,000 items (totally random guess) when the odds were 220/20000 obviously we saw them a lot more.

There's got to be some kind of logic in place for the boxes. It can't just be true random*. random is random etc.

The chances of getting turms body 5 times before getting any other piece of turms is really... abnormal. and I currently have 5 turms bodies and no hands feet legs or hats.

ive got a screenshot of the me getting the same item twice in a row from anv keys. but random is random. 60 keys this week so far, gotten 5 shard/void

I get the same item on multiple accounts too, which is really odd. Did 30 keys each on two accounts this week and both got Vrikodara Jupon.

Not the first time that has happened and I probably only notice it on random items like the above and would glance over less common items.

Best I got this week was a few pieces of Escha/Reisenjima gear, and an NQ Garuda ring.

Sorry, but not buying this for a second. If anything your experience is an extreme outlier.

It is a pretty noticeable drop off from a sizable population... not just one or two people complaining.

I see this often. For the most part it seems to me that items drop in groupings. I don't know if the groupings are random, or based on a specific time, etc.

If I get armor, I often get several pieces of armor from the same era / content (salvage, dynamis, etc.). If I get a void/shard I tend to get two. It is extremely hard to quantify, but also pretty difficult to ignore.

I’ve gotten deceiver torque 5 times total from all ANV sessions. (4 accounts 4 mains multiple mules on each account.)It’s annoying but it happens.

One day earlier this week I got 6 Dynamis (D) drops in one day out of 29 SPs. Since then I have not gotten any. I wonder if the bonus zone from the campaign that day was the same zone I opened them in (it was Bastok I opened them in).

It is a long shot probably, but I wonder if the current campaign bonus zone causes the same zone gobbie box to have a greater chance of dropping the dynamis drops.

Most likely not, but it is strange to me the accounts of similar results.

Or just spurts of luck.
