if the SCH all have maxed out merits in Modus Veritas the timing might not be so important.
Except that a Helix spell only does damage every 9 seconds. You have the initial damage, then that damage repeats itself every 9 secs for the spells duration. Assuming you did 120 Damage to the mob you'd have done 720 DMG when the Helix was done. If one SCH does MV it reduces the total duration from a minute to 30 seconds, but doubles the damage. You'd still end up with 720 DMG but you'd have done it in 30 secs instead of waiting a whole minute.
If another SCH did MV then it would reduce that duration by half from 30 secs to 15. Since the Helix will only damage every 9 seconds you'd only get 1 tic off but you'd have done 1440 dmg.
Another SCH would multiply that dmg to 2800 but the duration would be 7.5 seconds.
4th SCH - 5760 dmg, 3.75 sec duration
5th SCH - 11,520 dmg, 1.8 sec duration
6th SCH - 23,040 dmg, 90 millisecond duration
7th SCH - 46,080 dmg, .45 ms duration
8th SCH - 92,160 dmg, .22 ms duration
9th SCH - 184,320 dmg, .11 ms duration
10th SCH - 368,640 dmg, .05 ms duration
You'd still have to time it so that everyone's MV went off at the same time while also matching MV's time reduction perfectly with the next damage tic of the Helix.
Plus a Helix's duration is based off the target's resistance to an element and the spell itself. Then you have other things to factor in like Weather, Klimaform, and Ebullience.
An easy way to experiment would be to get 3 or 4 scholars and try practicing it during Besieged because of the Revitalizer item.
