On another note, Google recently added an "Executive Orders" section as a part of their news feed. I'm sure it was purely a business decision with absolutely no agenda.

Google's only agenda is to sell your data to the highest bidders and use it against you !

Hold on, still listening in for the part about visas.

I got Vic blocked but it's funny seeing how clueless he is there. The absolute worst thing Trump can do right now is to admit he might be wrong, it would only embolden the liberals and encourage them to continue their antics. If anything they would just protest harder, this time for automatic amnesty and citizen to all illegals or something similar. Also it would make him the fall guy should anything *bad* happen, which something will. No he's going to let this play out and if any changes need to made, they will be done at a later date and in a fashion that doesn't lose credibility or make him the fall guy for when the next crazy dude from the middle east decides to blow something up.

It wouldn't even have to be related to this EO, just the mere appearance and the resulting shaming tactics used by the left would be enough.

In stupid news

Quote:
Customers at an Italian restaurant near one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in San Antonio allegedly left a racist message for the restaurant’s owner Friday, vowing not to return because he is Mexican.

“The food was tasty and the service was attentive,” the customers reportedly wrote on a receipt left at Di Frabo Ristorante Italiano near the Dominion development on Friday. “However, the owner is ‘Mexican.’ We will not return.

“America First,” the note concluded. The customers racked up a $53 tab before leaving the racist message.

The phrase “America First” has risen to prominence under President Donald Trump, who repeatedly used the phrase since he first launched his presidential bid in 2015.

Owner Fernando Franco is from Mexico City but now lives in San Antonio. Franco said he and his wife were dining in the restaurant Friday afternoon, but he was also speaking to his manager in Spanish. Once the lunch crowd cleared out, the manager approached him with the receipt, Franco said.

“I hope this is not going to get worse, that my family’s not going to be at risk in any way,” Franco said.

The restaurant took to Facebook to address an outpouring of support after a photo of the receipt circulated on social media over the weekend. One tweet has received almost 12,000 retweets as of Monday morning.

“Thank you to everyone who has been showing us so much love and support today,” the restaurant wrote in a Facebook post Saturday, using the hashtag #strongertogether.

One commenter wrote, “God bless you, sir. Keep up the good work. You are employing people that otherwise would not have a job. And you are contributing to this state and nation’s economy by paying your taxes. That customer was an idiot and is setting a terrible example to his children.”

These people who left that message has got to be from out of state.

Because any Texan knows, the best restaurants are owned by Mexicans.

What surprised me is I'm from the area, and Di Frabo is neither good, nor busy, nor is their service any good. I'm more inclined to believe that this is fake and/or bait than real.

Awww my feelings are so hurt. Trump was wrong the second he issued that EO and everyone knows it, he has already had to walk back several provisions and now DHS is trying to take the fall for him.
As far as "shaming tactics" Trump is doing it all by himself by attacking the American judge. Keep believing that this was all part of Trump's "plan." Its cute.

What, by doing what Obama has done in the past, which is to block visa issuance from several countries deemed high risk (btw, in case you haven't realized it, Trump never named the countries, he used already named countries that your hero made before he left office).

Uh, yes he has had to make alterations to the original EO. And no, Obama never tried to block current visa holders from entering the country. That lie that Conway spewed when she made up the Bowling Green Massacre? Still a lie. There is a reason that two different judges have blocked the EO. This isn't hard.

As a result of the Kentucky case, the State Department stopped processing Iraq refugees for six months in 2011, federal officials told ABC News – even for many who had heroically helped U.S. forces as interpreters and intelligence assets. One Iraqi who had aided American troops was assassinated before his refugee application could be processed, because of the immigration delays, two U.S. officials said. In 2011, fewer than 10,000 Iraqis were resettled as refugees in the U.S., half the number from the year before, State Department statistics show.

Either way:

A) You still haven't proven any "alterations" to Trump's EO.
B) The list of countries on Trump's EO was provided by the Obama Administration.
C) You still haven't countered that this wasn't the *** of the DHS.

I'm responding slowly because Nioh is killing me a lot.
A. Trump amended the EO to allow Iraqi interpreters into the country.
B. So what? I don't care if he pauses immigration from certain countries. (although its amusing that he is slamming Obama's policies with his left hand and carbon copying them with his right hand).
C. DHS was given what..a couple of hours to prepare? The DHS Secretary didn't even read it until the night before. Why wasn't there prep time, lawyers consulted, etc? What was the rush? There was no immediate threat that we know of.

I pointed that out the day the EO was issued. Omits the 4 countries that the 9/11 terrorists came from. I mean I get that Trump copied Obama, but nothing was stopping him from actually doing something on his own.

Why would they be? The list was drawn up by the intelligence agencies as places where terrorist organizations would most likely use on the next attack. Places they would already be smuggling people into the USA from.

Quote:
Kelly argued, as he did last week, that the ban was imposed in larger part because official records in the seven countries are too inadequate to prove that travelers “are who they say they are.” And he appeared to try to emphasize how little the United States knows about such countries and their people by pointing out the U.S. has no embassy in four of the seven countries.

Baning Saudi people makes absolutely zero sense, the next set of terrorists won't come from there, their too careful now about that ***. Saudi's kill terrorists if they can catch them, so most "Saudi" just leave their country, went to another country, changed passports and identities and then infiltrate the US as a citizen from a nation that is very easy to get an identity from.

Right now Syria is a perfect location because the chaotic situation makes any sort of identity verification impossible. We just have to trust that they are what that piece of paper says they are and aren't infiltrators hiding in the ocean of refugees.
