Lockstyle Problem

I get a message that says "The appearance of your Rasetsu Samue was unable to be locked." when I attempt to lockstyle the body piece. I gave it to a friend and they were able to lockstyle it. I took off all other armor and was still unable. The friend was taru and I am galka. Anyone have any ideas? Cheers.

That's the issue, then. In order to lockstyle a piece of gear, you need to have at least one job capable of wearing it.

I have an all jobs shield that is giving that message "ark shield" (level 1 all jobs)

are you trying to lockstyle it over another shield? Only because I've seen people trying to lockstyle either the login weapons or the various TVR mission ones you get, but they have to match weapon type.
