You should talk to people that have different views from you. Come to the dark side we have punch and pie ! fonewear said: » Breaking news Trump did something. Media outraged ! He named Stephen Bannon "chief strategist and senior counselor". Looks like fears of a Breitbart nation weren't unfounded. Offline

The people that are scared of Trump. What you should be scared of is ever paying off your student loans. Now that is scary.

Martial Law in response to protests and a potential war with China incited by Trump crossed my mind after election night. But it was just a thought. Offline

No... but I'm old and rarely go out past 10:00pm anyways... so it wouldn't really effect me at all. /shrug Plus the paranoid psychotic portion of my brain says martial law was never lifted since the tea party and you're living in a dream world if you believe you have any real freedoms.... Shop as usual and avoid panic buying fonewear said: » What you should be scared of is ever paying off your student loans Look, I know this is a video game forum, but quit living in a fantasy world. Let me give you this piece of advice Foney. Steer clear of the girls with matted hair... that's not a new fad.. they simply lack the mental capacity to take care of their appearance Offline

I don't know a low mental capacity woman could have it's perks...
As for having a gun safe it may be more for the purpose of keeping your gun from being stolen... according to the BJS from 05-10 1.4million firearms were stolen during household burglaries so an average of 232,400 a year over the period of 5 years... lock your ***up when you're not there...
Good news is that about 50,000 less guns are being stolen per year from the ten years previous to that... that could have continued to decrease as well... Unfortunately it doesn't really get into how many are recovered or if any are found to be used in crimes... some do make the argument that this is a statistically insignificant number since there are 310million guns in the United States... though I would argue that it's still pretty significant regardless since the number of stolen weapons is high regardless to its comparison to the total number of guns in play... I've heard that houses that fly American flags are being targeted due to the increased likelihood that there will be guns inside to steal.
Not only should you lock your crap up, but Gary Busey in the movie "Black Sheep" taught me that true patriots maintain an active mine field on their property just in case. There are a lot of really slick gun safety devices out there right now that allow you to safely store them to prevent accidents, protect against theft, and still access them quickly if you need to in an emergency.
Like, even if you're not a firearms enthusiast, some of the devices are fascinating from a technology/mechanism standpoint. Offline

Gary Busey taught me that the best way to appear as crazy as possible on film is to establish a history of being crazy as *** and then get a director who is crazy as *** to get you to play a picket fence all American completely normal day. I swear to *** I spent all of his scenes in Lost Highway going "When the *** is Gary Busey going to Gary Busey? THIS IS A MASTERPIECE OF SUSPENSE!" |
