wouldnt it be, isntead of affecting light... the electromagnet/magnet is affecting the oil/water/liquid/material to react or vibrate just slightly that it affects the light refraction?
I mean, you get the same effect on a hot day, on on a hot surface, the shadow is casted and is moved. same effect can be said for mirages in a dessert, and def. not affected (directly) by magnetism.

was manipulated through the use of EM though, if not by itself, just like the one experiment prior that I posted before that one. Which actualy was brought to my attention a long time ago by Eslim. (Page7) Im not sure how it works. I just know how to read & quote other sources.
