Being racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, and Islamophobic is something to be overtly proud about now.

Clearly the best example of leftist prejudice I have ever seen.

I'm sure calling half of americans deplorable won't have any effect on the polls... oh wait.

Even if you assume a 50/50 split of voters at this time (which, really, given polls is probably the fairest to say right now), she said half of his voters, iirc.

Which means she called no more than a quarter of American voters deplorable.

Which...I'm sorry, I've known too many of my fellow Americans. I'd go so far as to call 25-50% of our country's population deplorable in some fashion too.

Hell, maybe I'm one of them. I dunno. That seems like the kind of thing that's not really able to be self-appraised...

She called the portion who are racist, sexist, etc., deplorable. It's not a complicated statement. People who think that way should be deplored.

Well... If you break it down it's more like 13% of the population.

You figure only 55% of the voting population votes. We give both candidates a fair split of 27.5% for the sake of being unbiased. Then split that on half you get 13.75% who would be the deplorables.

I definitely have no problem believe that at least 13% of Americans are still sexist/racist/homophobic/etc. I have a hard time believe it's less than that.

I think your number is -- surprisingly for you, of all people -- incredibly optimistic.

Quote:
Every year, about 42.5 million American adults (or 18.2 percent of the total adult population in the United States) suffers from some mental illness, enduring conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, statistics released Friday reveal.

Neither do I, I was basing it off of a fair split of voter turnout numbers from the 2012 elections, which was roughly 129,235,000 voted out of a voting population was 235,248,000 or 54.9% (55% if you like whole numbers). While the actual population is roughly 350,000,000.

Fair enough, but given the percentage of those undiagnosed at any given time, it's really probably not too far off from the Newsweek numbers.

Clearly she should have said people who are racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic and islamaphobic support trump, but some of them are good people. As we have seen, that kind of statement isn't insulting to particular demographics at all.

Is it your argument that no racist, sexist, xenophonic or Islamaphobic people support Hillary? You are not a serious person then. The most racist people in the Country are Democrats. Just look at their record. Look at statistics. Racism is the only explanation for what Democrats have done to African Americans by and large for the last Century.

Using a terms like racist and sexist, xenophobic or Islamophobic the others similar to it as a target to blame all the problems on one's nation is not a qualifiable answer at all. What people need to realize is who is making laws and public policy. The correct answer to the problems in one's nation and the only acceptable correct answer there can ever be is the ruling establishment governing the people of said nation.

Lets use the United States of America as a example for the above paragraph. The establishment Democrat and republican political party organizations are to blame for the ills of the nation as a whole. Because they allow things way worse than terms that are protected by the Constitution to happen within the borders of the nation. They accept bribes from wolves to enter the sheep field to do with as they will because they payed to feed off the sheep. But all the sheep keep blaming the wolves when it is a shepherds that allowed them to inflict the horrors they face each and every day and every 2 to 4 and 6 years they vote for the same shepherds that allow the wolves to feed on them.
