Potentially Ineligible Individuals Have Been Granted U.S. itizenship Because of Incomplete Fingerprint Records
DHS release.

Quote:
USCIS granted U.S. citizenship to at least 858 individuals
ordered deported or removed under another identity when,
during the naturalization process, their digital fingerprint
records were not available. The digital records were not
available because although USCIS procedures require
checking applicants’ fingerprints against both the
Department of Homeland Security’s and the Federal Bureau
of Investigation’s (FBI) digital fingerprint repositories,
neither contains all old fingerprint records. Not all old
records were included in the DHS repository when it was
being developed. Further, U.S. Immigration and Customs
Enforcement (ICE) has identified, about 148,000 older
fingerprint records that have not been digitized of aliens
with final deportation orders or who are criminals or
fugitives. The FBI repository is also missing records
because, in the past, not all records taken during
immigration encounters were forwarded to the FBI. As long
as the older fingerprint records have not been digitized and
included in the repositories, USCIS risks making
naturalization decisions without complete information and,
as a result, naturalizing additional individuals who may be
ineligible for citizenship or who may be trying to obtain U.S.
citizenship fraudulently.
As naturalized citizens, these individuals retain many of the
rights and privileges of U.S. citizenship, including serving in
law enforcement, obtaining a security clearance, and
sponsoring other aliens’ entry into the United States. ICE
has investigated few of these naturalized citizens to
determine whether they should be denaturalized, but is now
taking steps to increase the number of cases to be
investigated, particularly those who hold positions of public
trust and who have security clearances.
Response
DHS concurred with both recommendations and has begun
implementing corrective actions.
Their formating sucks... Also, interesting sidebar in the PR.

Prosecutor: Gov. Christie was told about plan to close lanes
Fox News (Another of my leftist sites King?)

Quote:
A federal prosecutor told jurors Monday that a witness will testify that Republican Gov. Chris Christie was told about a plan to close traffic lanes near the George Washington Bridge as it was happening, a claim he has contested for years.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Vikas Khanna made the revelation in opening statements at the trial of Bill Baroni and Bridget Kelly, two former allies of Christie. Baroni was a top Christie appointee to Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which operates the bridge, and Kelly was Christie's deputy chief of staff.

The trial comes three years after gridlock paralyzed a New Jersey town next to the busy bridge for four days. Prosecutors say it was a criminal conspiracy cooked up by Baroni and Kelly to punish Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich out of political revenge.

Khanna told jurors that David Wildstein, another Port Authority official, will testify he and Baroni made Christie aware of the plan during a 9/11 memorial in New York City in 2013, three days after the gridlock started.

"The evidence will show that ... they bragged about the fact that there were traffic problems in Fort Lee and that Mayor Sokolich was not getting his calls returned," Khanna said.

Christie has denied knowing about the scheme. A message left at his office Monday seeking comment wasn't immediately returned.

Christie wasn't charged in the federal investigation, and a New Jersey state legislative probe also concluded he didn't know about the alleged scheme. But the trial is expected to produce new revelations on who in Christie's inner circle may have known about the plans or subsequent cover-up.

Christie, an unsuccessful candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, conceded last week that the bridge scandal was a factor in GOP nominee Donald Trump's not picking him as a running mate.

According to a federal indictment, Kelly and Baroni conspired to reduce access lanes to the bridge in Fort Lee, across the Hudson River from New York City, in September 2013 after the town's Democratic mayor declined to endorse Christie's re-election. About 150,000 vehicles cross the bridge each day, making it one of the world's busiest.

They face counts of wire fraud, conspiracy, deprivation of civil rights and misusing an organization receiving federal funds. The organization is the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which runs area bridges, tunnels and transit hubs and is where Baroni served as deputy executive director.

The most serious charge in the indictment, wire fraud conspiracy, carries a maximum 20-year prison term.

Prosecutors are expected to introduce texts and emails showing the defendants joking about the traffic jams even as Sokolich -- who hadn't been notified ahead of time about the closures -- called and sent emails seeking help.

They'll also show jurors an email from Kelly to another Port Authority official a month before the traffic jams saying, "Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee."

That official, Wildstein, pleaded guilty in 2015 and will be the government's key witness. Wildstein is a onetime political blogger and high school classmate of Christie's who served as the Port Authority's director of interstate capital projects, a position created for him.

Kelly and Baroni have said in court filings that the government has twisted federal law to turn their actions into crimes. They also have said other people with more power and influence were involved but aren't being prosecuted.
Note that they aren't claiming he either knew about it beforehand nor approved the plan. Just that he knew about it long before he claimed to have known.

If there was the same enthusiasm to getting involved with government to make your nations better like going out to buy a lottery ticket to win millions I would take that bet that all of our nation's would be better off than they are now and would most likely get along better meaning less wars.
Don't you mean actually winning the millions?

There isn't much enthusiasm in buying the ticket as there are winning on the ticket.

If you want to reduce taxes to where the federal government doesn't take a penny out it can be done.
I'm a tax accountant, and, while I support the need to reduce taxes (and spending and waste, you know, fiscal conservative policies that died in 1992), even I would never even consider reducing the overall tax burden to the American people to zero.

That would be like shooting oneself in the foot, figuratively and literally. Who would pay for local hospitals to fix the stupidity that you inflicted on yourself (Medicare and government fundings)? Ambulences to carry your stupid *** to the hospital (Medicare and state funding, which is freed up by federal assistance)? 911 operators to take your call (federal funding for the police/fire/emergency services appropriations in every bill every year)? The doctor that really should slap you in the face for being so stupid (federal grants and student loans play a significant part of a student's education, and doctors have their entire student loan bill go away if they serve a specific time in a local hospital for stupid people who shoot themselves in the foot)? What about the lawyer who will have to defend your stupidity because you cannot afford an actual one (federal assistance for people like you in this case)? Or the Judicial system to convict you for being too stupid to go out on your own (and own a gun)? What about the jail and, in your case, the little cell with a doctor to give you the good medicine that makes all the voices in your head go away?

And that's just one part of the federal budget, which is what income taxes pay for. How do you expect to pay for national defense at the very least with no income?

Siren.Lordgrim said: »
If you want to take back your nations financial independence you can abolish the Federal Reserve central bank and smash the biggest banks in the nation ripping off the citizens.
You still never explained why the Federal Reserve is so bad. All you have ever said was akin to interstellar aliens (not to be confused with the "already living in Brooklyn aliens who are kept in check by the MIB" that you believe in) out to take over the world and only you can stop them.

You don't even know what the Federal Reserve does, and you want to abolish it?

Siren.Lordgrim said: »
You could eliminate student debt, and housing mortgage payments , or Medical debt nation wide.
That is true. By abolishing the Federal Reserve you pretty much destroy the monetary system and make everything worthless. Next thing we would have would be the bartering system. Do you really want to go back to pre-civilization ages (except Babylon, they were smart enough back then to use money instead of bartering)?

Siren.Lordgrim said: »
Releasing the chains of compound interest and abolishing Debt Slavery not only for individuals not for specific groups but for the whole nation. It can be done.
Explain to everyone what is compound interest. Then explain to everyone why it is bad.

Hell, I would go for an explanation of simple interest, as that is the easiest way to explain the concept of interest and the whole purpose of it.

Siren.Lordgrim said: »
We limit ourselves which hurts our potential to achieve the impossible to make our specie and our symbiotic relationship with this world better.
We do by allowing people like you a chance to speak. Sit down and shut up. Until you are smart enough to read a book that explains derivatives, you shouldn't be allowed an opinion about derivatives.

It's stupid people like you who are holding society back by inputting your ideas in topics you have zero knowledge of.

1. Why buy the ticket if your not excited about potentially winning? So there is enthusiasm

2. No one is saying reduce all taxes to zero you did. The taxes I was talking about eliminating is the federal income tax. I as many other Americans believe that the federal government has no right to take a penny from our workplace checks. There's always going to be taxes just a helluvah lot less the only taxes Americans will see will come from there States.

We have always had Doctors and Hospitals before the federal income tax we will still have them going forward without the federal income tax.

We have had Emergency service personal before the federal income tax we will continue to have them going forward without the federal income tax. Hence funding coming from the States themselves.

3. The Federal Reserve Bank and all affiliate central banks are a cancer to any nation that harbors one ALL have proven throughout history of causing massive economic problems. So all you need to know is I'm getting rid of it and make sure banking going forward is Honest and the control of it will be in the hands of the citizens of the United States of America and not from international bankers.

4. Glad you finally realize we can eliminate student debt, housing mortgage payments, and medical debt nation wide.

5. Your opinion of me having zero knowledge about anything I discuss is laughable. Your frightened about me knocking this house of cards over and you want to keep this ponzi scheme rolling. Suck it up you cry baby the American people are tired of changing your dirty diapers along with the rest of those traitors in Washington DC.

Why buy the ticket in the first place? There are two reasons why a person shouldn't play the lottery:

1) The odds of winning are horrible. I mean, even those who has never taken a statistics class in their life can tell how horrible the odds are.

2) If you are lucky enough to win, that doesn't mean you know how to maintain that wealth. I mean, getting that money doesn't mean you know how to spend it. More lottery winners have been saddled with worse debt than they had beforehand, and that has nothing to do with any government conspiracy you may be thinking about.

Siren.Lordgrim said: »

You can't say "nobody said that we are eliminating the income tax" and then say in the next sentence "I suggest eliminating the income tax." Every single one of my examples I gave was paid for by the federal government. And the federal government's main source of income (nearly all income actually) is income tax.

Eliminating federal income tax is paramount to bankrupting the federal government.

Siren.Lordgrim said: »

We didn't even come close to the amount of science we have today, nor the technology used to cure diseases, as we did then.

Maintaining a hospital was minimal back then, because all they had were basic supplies. Maintaining a doctor's office was minimal for the same reasons. Now? A doctor can use more resources in an hour than a hospital could use in all of 1912.

Or are you advocating that we go back to the desolate medical conditions of 1912? Where you are more likely to die from shooting yourself in the foot then than you are today?

Still not explaining what is wrong with the Federal Reserve. All you did was show limited causation using only 1 component of human history.

In other words, you are looking at the entire of history through a microscope.

Siren.Lordgrim said: »

You don't cure the disease by killing the patent. You want to help eliminate student debt, housing mortgage payments, and medical debt? Look at the main problem (the consumer) instead of an object (money).

Siren.Lordgrim said: »
5. Your opinion of me having zero knowledge about anything I discuss is laughable.
You still haven't proven otherwise. I challenged you into explaining the problem of the Federal Reserve, you did not do it. I challenged you into explaining what interest is, even giving you a break and having you explain what simple interest is, and you didn't even attempt it.

You have shown time and again that you have zero knowledge in anything here. And until you can prove otherwise, you will continue to be laughed at for lack of knowledge. And posting videos of Alex Jones, another person who has zero knowledge in what he is talking about, will never help your case at all.

Siren.Lordgrim said: »

What I'm truly frightened about is your lack of knowledge spreading. That is the only explanation of why the "anti-vax" crowd is growing (sorry Rooks, using it as an example, not trying to steer this conversation towards it). It's not about enlightening oneself, it's about putting control into the truly stupid people like yourself.

Luckily idiots like you are a vast minority as of right now. And if people like you ever even come to power, at least I have an escape route (I can move to another country if I choose to, and forgo my citizenship, while laugh at the idiots who put your kind into power). But at least I have the ability, somewhat, to make sure that you will not be in power. At least, not while I am alive.

Don't worry, I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. You and your kind will never get the kind of power you seek. I may not have much faith in the intelligence of humans, but at least I'm not pessimistic to the point that people are stupid enough to put you in power.

Well let's be honest. Campaigning of FFXIAH is not the best use of his time, which is sort of indicative of how bright and capable he is. Which is what Nik was trying to say to him already, but he sort of missed the point entirely, much to no one's surprise.

True. Saying something vs. doing it are two completely different things.

Remember, LG stated that he will never use money from donors, so he won't even make it passed the state electoral boards (since all states require a specific number of people on a petition per state, and some of them have to be that state's citizens, meaning you can't use the same name across all states), much less the primaries.

Which is why I said I will not have to worry about leaving the country due to his ilk's idiocy.

It would require a "perfect storm" political-wise, for him and his ilk to get in power. Kindof how (damn it, I'm Godwin'n it!) the Nazis got in power in 1928-1932.

Here's to the end of Uber, Lyft and Taxis as we know it. Hope they can fine tune the charming foreign driver personality algorithm.

Oh and let's not overlook a new age of terrorism with self driving car bombs.
