Gawker.com to End Operations Next Week.
Not the assortment of other sites, just Gawker.
Their rush for clicks at the expense of facts, and with no care towards the harm caused was just gross.
And since they hide "pending comments" (non-liberal commenters), it leads to the largest online circle-jerk I've ever seen. You'd get a more balanced discussion here about whatever game this site relates to than any political/sensational content on Gawker.
It kinda sucks they're going out like this (Hogan/Thiel's suit led to a bankruptcy which led to a Univision buyout) but they did it to themselves.
If the sins mentioned aren't enough, 500 Days of Kristen is enough of a reason all by itself.
