Most of her campaign right now is "Stay out of the spotlight so people don't get reminded how much they don't like me." It wouldn't matter. Hypothetically speaking, he could be helping out during a natural disaster while the president is playing golf or something and the media would still be harping on Trump about stupid crap. I know it's a strong hypothetical, though, because Trump's too evil to help people in need and Obama would never do the very thing that he slammed Bush for during Katrina. I think there is a mix of things here.
Number one : He is a presidential candidate so that increase the chances he will be in the spotlight Number two: He says some things that can easily be misinterpreted by those wishing to creating an anti-trump narrative Number three: Because Fox news has been so ***for so many years nobody watches them. Therefore everyone gets their information from liberal and DNC paid for news stations. Because of this their spins are more likely to be heard. They will also cover up anything outrageous Hillary will do. If you honestly think that Trump is the reason his face is plastered everywhere then you need to re-think a few things outside of your box. People are scared of Trump because of the media, people know about all the bad things that Trump did because of the media. eliroo said: » Number three: Because Fox news has been so ***for so many years nobody watches them. Wut Quote: With unprecedented interest in Presidential politics pumping up the numbers by double digits, the nearly 20-year old Fox News is currently in the No. 1 primetime spot for all of cable with 2.2 million viewers. For its most-watched year ever so far, that’s a jump from the No. 5 spot it held at this point in 2015. Now, all cable news nets see a rise in election years, but for Fox News the result is a little sweeter. The Roger Ailes-run channel is second in all of cable primetime for Q2 2016 behind the NBA playoffs-fueled TNT. The latter averaged 2.05 million viewers to FNC’s 1.97 million for the quarter. eliroo said: » Because Fox news has been so ***for so many years nobody watches them. eliroo said: » Because Fox news has been so ***for so many years nobody watches them. The LA governor specifically asked Obama to stay away since a presidential visit would divert resources away from the disaster response. Have the conservative talking points not been updated for this week yet?
Yeah yeah, we keep hearing that excuse over and over again.
Tell us, then, how Bush was treated for visiting LA after Sandy and Katrina a week late? And also, tell us why Obama isn't getting the same level of scrutiny? And also, tell us why Obama isn't getting the same level of scrutiny? If I'm understanding correctly, it's not okay that Bush didn't divert resources away for a personal visit, but it is okay that Obama didn't interrupt his vacation (except to attend a Clinton fundraiser) and couldn't even bother to make public or written statements about the flood, all because he had a Democrat governor to cover for him. Um, Sandy was in 2012. Bush got ***for the general slow federal response to Katrina and the underwhelming FEMA efforts. Obama declared the flooding a disaster over a week ago and FEMA was embedded on the ground early on.
It's funny how Obama and the governor get criticized for actually not playing politics with a natural disaster, but it's been 8 years of senseless criticism already so what's another one. It's kinda like P&R. You see, everytime something in this hellhole happens that requires Rooks' attention, it Diverts Resources™ from him fixing things, adding features, and improving existing ones.
...I admit, I just wanted to ***on P&R but still, I don't know how people aren't getting this. Natural disasters are usually followed by some people taking advantage of the situation, looting, rioting, etc. You take police from that duty and you endanger civilians, you take resources from clean up efforts, and I can't think of any more obvious situations to use as examples. I really don't know how to make it any more simple. Stop calling Altima a natural disaster!
He is at least manmade! I really don't know how to make it any more simple. I mean, it didn't stop looting from occurring with Sandy and Katrina. But again, it's not the point. You make it sound like Obama doesn't have his own security escort with him 24/7. And we haven't even addressed Hillary being completely MIA in all of this.
Bahamut.Ravael said: » And we haven't even addressed Hillary being completely MIA in all of this. Know what I think? I think it doesn't *** matter what the reason, how much proof is given, or what anyone says to the contrary of whatever narrative you guys have gotten in your heads. Nothing is never enough because "*** Obama because *** Obama" and if (or when) Hillary wins because you put your faith in an egomaniac, it'll be "*** Hillary because *** Hillary."
You're all just too stubborn, petty, and childish to even give the opponent the benefit of the doubt or credit where credit is due. I at least try to be somewhat open minded. For example with Trump's baby situation being blown out of proportion. There are several people who come in here with a closed mind and an open mouth and that's why P&R is ***. I'm also a bit steamed no one wants to talk about Kayleigh McEnenay...

I am just as outspoken on him than most people are. I'll still vote for him because he is still the lessor of the two evils. At least he isn't a proven pathological liar who flaunts national security and federal law like it's nothing to him. Can't say that about Clinton though. And those who still bleat that she is innocent of all that love that wool in their eyes. Anna Ruthven said: » I'm also a bit steamed no one wants to talk about Kayleigh McEnenay... There's a lot of them at CNN. Why is she any different? I mean, besides your apparent attraction towards her. |
