Keep freezing when a bunch of animations are happening it seems (lots of mobs/people around). Any potential reasons why? Haven't ever had this problem before.

Same problem here on GEO especially. I've turned effects off, but it still happens.

Try unloading gw if you use it. Same thing was happening to the bf and I last night, unloaded guildwork and then we didn't freeze/crash anymore.

I've tried all of that as well, turned off any and all settings via FFXI menu that would possibly play a role in freezing up screen.
