Random Sportsball!!
Rooting for PSG to win it, they have a very solid team. Though Inter are frighteningly good.
I was rooting for Real Madrid, but between Inter and PSG, I think both teams have good stories to tell in the end.
Gonna expect for a match with lots of goals. For everyone else's benefit - the final of pan-European football (soccer) competition Champions League will this year be between Paris St-Germaine FC (PSG), a team from Paris - France and FC Internazionale Milano (Inter), a team from Milan - Italy.
FC as in Football (Soccer) Club. This competition happens once a year and the final is a one off. No rematches, no do-overs, no best of. 90min + extra time + penalties in case of draws. Haven't watched football in over a year, but, for some reason, I decided to watch Barca vs Inter (first leg) because why not?
Damn, what a match. My friend was like: "can you watch more games?" So ofc, I watched the 2nd leg. I still can't believe that I witnessed thirteen goals in 2 matches, and only one was a PK. Faith in football restored. I'm glad I didn't miss the 1st minute Thuram goal, the fastest in CL semi final history? I was rooting for Inter, but man.. Lamine Yamal.. what a joy to watch that kid do his magic. Can't believe he is still 17. Faith in the future of football restored further. See you on the 30th. The two semis between Inter and Barca ended:
Barcelona - Inter: 3 - 3 Inter - Barcelona: 4 - 3 After Extra Time Well worth watching the highlights. Impressive how Brazil is celebrating the hiring of Ancellotti.
It is like a breaking news, a major event happening. Personally I would think a better fit for Brazil would be Jorge Jesus, but obviously none can argue with Ancellotti curriculum
PSG seems to have been winning easily the final match.
Unfortunelly I dont have anywhere o follow the final. I dont pay the pay-per-view offerings, Im only following it thrught text. The sad life of a poor mutt. *poor muscular mutt.
Very very solid team, PSG, said that after the semis.
It's over. 70mins in, 4-0 to PSG.
This massive championship of PSG can potentially bring new directions to modern football.
I didnt think PSG was a candidate at the beginning, due to no big star player. The practice triumped over the marketing it seems. 5-0 to PSG, which is I think a record for a Champions League final.
Fun highlights, lots of goals. I just watched the highlights.
I only saw one Inter play. This wasnt even a match. /check said too weak to be worthwhile. I just read about Luiz Enriques daughter and saw a photo of her with Barcelonas flag.
That photo was from the time Luiz Enrique won the Champions with Barca. Earlier, in that anti heroes video, I heard a very true quote when the guy was discussing Chigurh: fate is the greatest sociopath. Considering Xanas story, I can only agree. Ragnarok.Zeig said: » I witnessed thirteen goals in 2 matches But not like this, Inter. Not like this. Again I dont have any way to waching this nations league, and I would love to watch it for CR7 alone.
You can argue about the best player in world / story, but I dont think any footballer story is close to what this man is writing. I so wish Portugal to be champion here CR7 leaving because he is too tired is indeed a testimony of time.
He would never leave because of tiredness. But even his body cant withstand the time. He only managed to play 90 minutes at 39yo Congrats Portugueses!
CR7 is 40. Still banging in goals.
at this point, he will only stop once he reaches 1000 goals.
Probably 1000 official goals. That can be achieved if he goes to an easier league, and in 2 years. If you consider the friendly matches goals, then maybe in one year, but considering how narcisistic he is, most likely he will want the 1000 goals to be undisputed. Super underdog here, but Palmeiras is the team I root for, and while probably europeans dont care about this clubs world cup, it means a frigging whole lot to us.
PSG is PSG prime in this clubs world cup.
Undisputed favorite by a large margin. Scoring 4 goals in the always sturdy atleti is no small feat. Palmeiras had a decent kick off tonight.
In my view, it was better than Porto the entire match. But the Palmeiras player's lack of quality resulted in a 0x0. There is a huge difference between teams playing the end season and mid season. Palmeiras is at its physical strength's peak in this cup because we are still in midseason. It is our only trump card against the world. Those weather alert in America are kinda weird for us.
IMO, the weather there seemed crystal clear. They evacuating the stadium with this is so weird. Here those guys play a match in a heavy rain. At least my team scored twice, so Im pretty relaxed now
(I was so damn nervous 5 minutes ago). First unexpected result.
And Messi again. Now they will clash against my Palmeiras in the last round |
