Sorry for Marrocos and Croatia, but last high class match this world cup can offer is Argentina x France. And only because of Messi. Offline

Don't write Morocco off.
They've only conceded one goal all tournament and that was from one of their own players. YouTube Video Placeholder Ow, man Argentina is coming strong for the championship.
Maybe we are about to see a beautiful story to be written next sunday Im sorry for Mirocco, but the best final match just could be the best south american vs the best european
Just need an Argentina win to cement Messi's GOAT status
Indeed
If Argentina is champion, world cup 2022 will be forever remembered as the Messi’s cup Yay, Messi x Mbappe.
At least in my old Pro Evolution Soccer, Messi had 95 in acceleration and 94 in speed. So, its an even match. Offline

neither team are losers
Once for all, Messi surpassed Maradona.
And the greatest of all time But France is the most talented national team for, at least, more two cups.
I dunno, it might be Ronaldo's time at the peak career age of 45
I'm kidding obviously, but it always throws me off seeing commentary like "Messi is 35, practically dead at that age. Best years of his life 3 decades ago. Anyone over the age of 11 is old balls." Now, there is always someone that comes to break protocols...
Well, at least, it seems like the sheik there liked what he saw, i guess. When I saw that live I was like "wait, did he just do what I think he did?!"

It's tricky, i mean Maradona was probably better, but in a far shorter time frame, without the drugs he would have been the greatest football player ever

Ahh best Pele moments..... When he scored an overhead kick for the allies against the Gemrans :)
Sucks the vídeos were so bad for the most part of his career….
Nowaday any mediocre player can edit his best moments and make a 10 minutes videos on youtube…. Pele had like a 2h of DVD for his. Btw, i remember watching it in movie theater, goog times. Bahamut.Celebrindal

So many tales of his life are being told in many sport sites here. But one in particular resonated with me. Something that kinda bothered was how media never was explicit with his real situation. It was almost obvious he would never leave hospital, but news gave the inpression things were controlled. But the answer whys that was made clear today: Pele never wanted to show weakness. Never wanted to feel like pitied. And I guess, thats a honorable trait. Death is an inevitable situarion. So there is no real to lose to despair, to lose to sadness or whatever. Thats probably how i would want to die someday too. None need to know my pain, none need to see me in my weakest state. Pride is a deadly sin, but i guess is at least a good one to leave the material realm The best World Cup.

Pride is a deadly sin, but i guess is at least a good one to leave the material realm Pride involves looking down on others and thinking you're inherently better than them, deserving a better life (and afterlife, if you believe in it). It can be tricky because sometimes the same action can be the result of completely different traits (e.g. refusing a service due to pride vs self-respect), so one needs to look into their heart and be honest with themselves about it. |
