The ratio of tyrants dying to innocent people dying so you can have all the guns you want is almost incalculable and imbalanced.
No death of a tyrant can be worth the countless years of shootings in this country.
There shouldn't have been a Columbine. There shouldn't have been a Newtown, and many of these shootings would be preventable with more sensible laws.

And even when they were it was too late. They didn't think anything of it and figured they would one day return to their lives as they were moved to ghettos. They would have lost all their guns like they lost their other possessions. The citizens didn't know, believe, or care. By the time you actually had Jewish insurrection it was too late.
We have this love affair with the idea that with guns we can prevent things like the Holocaust from happening.
No, if Germans had the same gun rights as Americans then the Holocaust still would have happened.
Syrians are better prepared to fight their tyrannical government without a second amendment than Americans are.

Readily available guns means readily available mass shootings. If we haven't already figured that out.
People get hung up on "well they are breaking the law anyway" and miss the picture.
as long as people are living as they do on this earth they will continue to kill each other guns or no guns will not change this. be it mass shootings, mass stabbings or bombings nothing you can do in the form of a law will change people wanting to murder others.

well i don't know everything about Sweden, however you are talking about a county that is aprox a quarter of the population of California which I would imagine has rather low unemployment and very good social bonds within a community, the larger you get the harder it to maintain the type of way of living you enjoy in Sweden.
