POL Server Down?

Why can't these problems arise during my City Dynamis runs. D: Bad timing, SE!

Looks like we are all in for a bit of a wait.. unfortunately that kind of kills my whole morning..

Players who are scheduled to participate in Pankration matches, those who will enter Assault, Salvage or Einherjar areas, or those who will participate in Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance, we ask that you please wait until maintenance is complete before engaging in these activities. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process.

I am also getting this, its been happening for the last couple of days, i tried to log over to my mule and it wouldnt let me log out, then it just disconnected me and i aint been able to get on since.

Can't log in either....Other char is still on though. Don't log out if you want to get back on ~.~

Been R0'n, random connection lost for the last few days, maybe a week. I was thinking it was on my end.. Had me reset network connections, routers, the pc.... LOL. Now I can't get in at all.

Yup getting the same.. just tried and got POL-0019 and i cant even log in to the playonline website, even had random timeout's from server too, and i even thought it was on my end but i guess not >.>

not just the log in n log off problems ive experianced in the last few days, also when fighting colibs in bhaflau thickets the mob would sundenly shoot to the other side of the tower for no reason then come flying back, very weird.

I want to be at home playing it...

It's been nearly 2 hours now and no updated info from SE. (*´ο`*)

What do you guys play on? Curious to know if it's a PS2/360 thing. Cause there's people r0ing all over, and then there's people who still manage to log in.

Edit: Just received and in-game system message. Says if you get disconnected you wont be able to get back in, however FFXI will continue to be available while you are logged in. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well, heres the scoop ive heard via, well via a source.

Someone/s implanted a program "hack" into PoL to steal account information, as soon as SE found out they turned PoL off and currently trying to fix programming.

Is this credible? I cannot say with certainty, however this does sound like the nxt step in RMT activities.

Wishing i didn't log to mule some craftables, lol. /sigh

It can't be a PS2/360 thing because I can't log in on any of my 3 accounts on either of my PCs.

sheesh. if that is true then these RMT are starting to open up a can of worms they are not prepared to deal with.

On Xbox 360 connected to same router as laptop im typing this on, idk what the matter is. I tried to jiggle the cords and everything O.O!

It is server side, Playonline, not player side.

Also is very, very frustrating.

You will show up on your friend's list as on the Server but not online if you DC or Log during this but your char is not online so don't worry if one of your friends say they see you on unless they can actually find your character through /search.
