Considering how the game works, and what some people have said in the forum, those who want to be able to go anywhere should be using warp. It takes you to your home point, so wherever you consider home to be for the time being (home, work, school, tropics, etc.) you'll be able to quickly get there.
That being said:
Job ability: Benediction seems the only ability that would truly be useful.
Spell: Reraise III That way I could choose when I die, and Benediction would be able to remove the status effect "old." Found a semi-logical way to immortality!
