May Update Trailer is Live
I suppose Mulcibar's Scoria will be in higher demand, and since there isn't really any significant reduction in Zeni pop item prices, PW pops are going to take mostly the same amount of effort to obtain, the only change being the removal of picture turn in limit.
Has anyone tested yet to see how big the increase is, or is it just "however many pictures of nauls you can take before you die of boredom?"

With the new gear and their ability to be augmented, alluvion stones will most likely fall by the wayside as well. Memory farming might still be decent, but even that's questionable. It seems the best choice will most likely be farming Escha for the elixers there. What about hMPs/cinders? They should hold their value. Asura.Ivlilla said: » Sylph.Safiyyah said: » Wow. I started a second mythic two weeks ago. I still need 20k-ish alex. At 120 per 30 minutes across two characters (so no downtime), I can finish in 83 hours, just farming myself. That's not a weekend but that's pretty damn awesome. Do you just completely ignore everything but the HQ boss? See, I'm failing to understand how people legitimately clear something like Arrapago II in 30 minutes. For AR2, no, I do the 4 ramparts and gears, then the NQ/HQ bosses, usually do the acroliths that have 100% drop of alex too. On PUP that takes about 35 minutes, 25-30 on BLU. The biggest time saver you can do is AoE on ramparts floor. ZR2, which I'm forced to do on days when I have more than one tag per character, takes longer. I've started just going straight for HQ boss because the other alex drops there suck in terms of reward/effort. Sylph.Safiyyah said: » usually do the acroliths that have 100% drop of alex too. No acroliths are 100% drop of alex in arrapogo2 Was it just AR2 that you can only enter once per day or can you only enter each salvage zone once per day?
MY path on AR2 is:
Floor 1: farm vultures + Lamia x1 or 2 for unlocks, Skip Chigoe NM floor 2: farm leeches and both Lamia for unlocks, skip gear NM floor 3: kill gear to pop and kill Chigoe NM since it adds very little time to the run and a chance at a cotton purse floor 4: Skip. floor 5: farm gears floor 6: farm all chariots + kill NQ boss floor 7: kill HQ boss. My best time on BLU/THF was 27 mins, and that was killing every floor boss from floors 3+, all acroliths, and full clears of floors 5 and 6. If I'm not hurrying, 30-32 mins is more reasonable. Subduction really is that strong... I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Blurred Harp +1 yet. "Grants one additional song effect All songs +2 "Ballad"+2 "Lullaby"+2"

I'd suggest taking the east route on floor 3 since there's an additional acrolith roaming amongst the qutrub that can drop a cotton, and there's 3 acroliths on floor 4 right before the lamia room that can drop a cotton each. somebody post the new job point categories and gifts prease. this update download is going nowhere. ; ;

My download is 1hour 51 mins ..... I am going crazy. Although 10 mins per ID tag refresh...!!! Just made SM last night and can't wait to play with the assaults I haven't done yet because of their retardedness...Apkallu Breeding (WTF?!) Least this way people with no experience can test themselves out without having to wait an obscene amount of time before being able to retry again.
Job points/gifts? Anyone post the new ones for bst yet? Haven't seen anything mentioned except something about Run Wild +2 seconds or something not so usefull..the dam thing still KILLS the pet! Bismarck.Branden said: » Has anyone received these ki's yet? How long/difficult was it? I just got Rhapsody in Azure. It wasn't hard at all -- the content can't be more than 75, at best. The hardest part was figuring out where to go. I wasn't expecting it to be so straightforward, and I wasted time overthinking. This update makes me want to reactivate
They already said the first part was gonna be low level. If you want the high end content then fight the NMs.
Well I have to give a big *** YOU to SE for this ***. Apparently if you never completed the useless monument quest with the mayor of Selbina(for crawlers next map) your not able to progress in Rhapsodies. I got the zone in cut scene, but because I never finished that quest all I got from him was more clay and nothing about the new story. I'm hoping maybe I can continue by going to Mhaura instead.

Just do the quest for the map. Even if you purchased the Crawler's Nest map from Rusese in Upper Jueno, you should still be able to do the quest. Yeah, I'm gonna have to finish the quest. It's just a lot of stupid running around and waste of time. I don't clipper my way through the game like a lot of people seem to do these days, so running end to end through 15 zones for a map I don't need is just /wrists lol.
It would just have been nice had SE noted there would need to be previous quests completed to progress through the story. I could have had it long done had I known it was going to be needed..... 10 years down the road. Zombie6269 said: » Yeah, I'm gonna have to finish the quest. Legitimate movement+ is really easy to come by these days, though. Heck, if I REALLY want to get around quickly I just use Fleet Wind + Herald's Gaiters. I didn't need to do the quest for the map.
Yeah, you might just need to finish your current assignment.
Cerberus.Tikal said: » I didn't need to do the quest for the map. The thing is though, did you ever actually start it? I had it already active and partly completed way back in day from 2004. There is no way to cancel the quest once you start it, and even after several times zoning I get no dialog/cs from the mayor accept for the monument quest. At least I have crimson legs to get me through it a little faster. Zombie6269 said: » Cerberus.Tikal said: » I didn't need to do the quest for the map. Are you sure it's a prerequisite for Rhapsodies? Cerberus.Avalon said: » Zombie6269 said: » Cerberus.Tikal said: » I didn't need to do the quest for the map. Are you sure it's a prerequisite for Rhapsodies? It's not exactly a prereq. for the story, but it appears if you started the quest long ago and never finished you then have to finish it or the mayor will not give you dialog for rhapsodies. I mean, I started the quest when I was still leveling my first job through the dunes, I said "lol crawlers next map", so now it's biting me in the *** a decade later lol Zombie6269 said: » Cerberus.Avalon said: » Zombie6269 said: » Cerberus.Tikal said: » I didn't need to do the quest for the map.
