He accused GZ of shooting him...but declined to press charges....

You know, if somebody shot at me, I would press charges, because I know he A) had a gun and B) discharged that gun.

It seems to me like this guy that shot Zimmerman is a stalker out to kill Zimmerman.....

Somewhat unsuprisingly, like every other topic, people are talking hard sides on this discussion.

All I'm saying is you don't get yourself in this many hot situations without being a jerk.

I'm not saying he's a murderer, or that there wasn't a degree of self-defense involved in his shooting of Martin (also, just because Martin got the best of a fight doesn't mean he instigated it). And I'm not interested in maligning the dead to "victimize poor defenseless" (obviously not) white guy.

All I'm saying is Zim-Zim is probably a real *** tool and while that doesn't make him a felon, it does make him the kind of person who "just happens" to end up in a lot of nasty situations.

How are they purposefully being excluded when all you need to do is a quick google search and bam! Its all right there in your face. There are numerous reports on all of these and by multiple news outlets...

It's expected of black people to do horrible things to white people? There is something wrong with the way your head works. Seriously wrong.

Again... all of this is easily available on multiple news outlets... also, all of the criminals associated with these crimes seem to have been caught. Just because you think some of these aren't getting as much media coverage as you think they should is not evidence that it is being covered up or swept under the rug or hidden from the public...

As it stands most cops are fine, but man the minority of bad ones seems to be growing -- or, to be fair, making themselves better-known -- daily.

Zimmerman doesn't get "administrative leave" with pay after killing someone.

I used to be outraged.

I also used to get really, really mad when people got all weepy over the death of celebrities who are just entertainers who lived amazing lives, while other great people die in obscurity.

But even someone like me, who is an industrial-equivelent human outrage machine, just can't maintain that level of anger. It's unsustainable.

So I save most of it for arguing ideals here and live the rest of my life as calmly as possible.

Except for road rage, man. Would these mother *** learn to drive already?

The dude was going around trying to start sh!t with Zimmerman, who always deescalated the situation and tried to avoid violence. This guy kept it up and eventually decided that he wasn't going to get GZ to pull a gun or provoke a SYG situation so he just attempted to shoot him anyway.

It's f*cking mind boggling. This isn't a left / right issue, it's a f*cking idiot trying to kill someone. The guys on the left should be just as critical of this dude as they were of GZ yet because Zimmerman is involved they immediately eject reason and jump on the emotional PC train.

Starts out with a letter he wrote prior to the jury's deliberation thinking the sheriffs department and praising them for outstanding professionalism. Later on he slams the prosecution for some pretty blatant misconduct and turning the whole trial into circus.

That is how gullible and ignorant so many of you are. You believe anything fed to you and then champion that same false belief. The more relevant information is provided that refutes your false belief, the harder you champion it until you've turned yourselves into fanatical zealots. Eventually you get to the point where your just want to shut down everyone discussing your fanaticism using any and all means necessary, even if they involve violence.

I can answer honestly for both sides:

Because it makes everyone feel superior to take an anonymous internet dig at someone we disagree with, because most of the time in real life the social contract prevents us from doing so as we like our jobs/families/friends/etc. to stay relatively peaceful and status quo!

Admittedly, there might be the odd responder who will say, "***, I'm alpha, yo! I tell everyone my mind all the time! I'm an *** and proud of it!"

Now, those people do it on internet forums not because they won't in real life, but because no one can *** stand them in real life so no one wants to be around them to listen, and they've got to get it out of their system somewhere.

I believe the more correct answer to the social contract answer is: Because I can't punch you through a screen.

Because if I can, I would have done so (not necessary to you Ramy, but there has been times...).

Take the physical interaction out (and lack of actual physical responses) and all of the sudden, everyone's an ***.

It's all in the same general bubble of "social acceptability". Also, in the case of punching people, there's the "battery and/or assault" legal aspect.

In some cases, you go into international law. Cause there are also some people who I would love to punch that the US isn't in an extradition treaty with in their country.
