The Tartarus Mail. I only say that because the stats are phenomenal and it has a special effect. I doubt they'd intend everyone to be running around town with big glowing wings though.

Also missing a MAB Neckpiece with Acc+5, Magic Attack Bonus+10, enmity-5, Conserve MP+3

It drops from Brimboil I think, or the other NM in Brash.

It's interesting that the messages seem to appear regardless of the order you do them in.

We did:
Magic -> MB -> 4-step skillchain

You did:
4-step skillchain -> Magic -> MB

This will make it easier to hunt the Tier 5 boss.

Yeah we just found out about it today after testing around.

Doing MBs last just gives us more control over when to pop it since the Double Skillchain part sometimes still likes to make problems.

What all have people tested at 132? Anything other than what Eijin already posted?

We are testing 132 right now and so far nothing has been found.

Someone posted magic kills is a condition again, and someone in my LS confirmed it tonight when he got the T4/5 upgrade messages off the same magic kill.

In ele zone magic kills is def one of the messages. We have gotten that each attempt. I should mention we have retested some of the stuff posted on BG since 10 seems to be the magic number for that. We tried killing things with pets, killing things with DoT they were weak to on at time of death, killing things with slashing, piercing, and day of the week element.

That you now need 10 magic kill instead of 5 could be a hint to "double" other things as well. 2 Magic Bursts same time? 6 Step skillchain?


LS lead has been at it for 8 hours today and got nothing but the order not mattering.

For me it shows I'm completing both stage 1 requirements of Perfidien and Plouton within a minute of each other.

But didnt get anything beyond those since we were just nuking slimes,acuexs and leeches for papers.

Interesting. We tried three step skillchains with magic burst kills. Doesn't seem to be that. We also tried three steps with magic bursts at each skillchain. No dice.

I don't know if someone already said this, but the fistule type NM seems to split when it takes 3k+ damage in one shot. Only doing T1 blizzard with no melee skillchaining and it didn't split once.

It was super easy this way.

Went to sleep last night after doing this all day instead of posting first without knowing for sure, but I think we have it nailed down how to pop Perfidien 100% of the time. Think of it like a hidden RoE objective in order to upgrade the color of your KI

Objectives to pop:

1) To get umbral hue, you have to kill 4-7 mobs with magic. Skillchain kills count, which is why we'd sometimes get umbral hue message in formor chamber. For this to count, the magic might have to be what the monster is weakest to. The monster also has to be claimed to count.

2) To get "an even darker shade of black" message, you need to kill 4-7 mobs with a magic burst'd spell. We did exclusively darkness SC with darkness based spells for MB killshot.

3) To get "indistinguishable from the dead of night!" message, you need to perform 4-6 or so double light(dark might count, but have not tested it) skillchains. Out of the 6-7 kills we did last night, it popped on the first double skillchain once, but all the rest took at least 5-6.

Notes:

•Once you meet objective 3, Perfidien will pop ontop of the person who entered, even if they are far away.

•The battle has a time limit. Perfidien will say something like "Why am I wasting my time with you" and he'll warp out. This happened to us when the person with KI was far away and we wasted time running back to them. Seems to be 7-8min time limit.

•When you pop Perfidien, you will lose your ashen KI, which means the same person can't spam ilevel130 over and over to farm this, but other people can still enter 130 for you.

•Once you beat Perfidien, you will gain an additional 15 minutes inside the zone, not 15min remaining as the message seemed to suggest.

•Perfidien will start out absorbing skillchain damage, then seemingly started doing 0 damage, then eventually started doing damage. Not sure what's triggering this, but a few times we swapped to Shoha only to kill without skillchains.

•Perfidien can level up multiple times and can be red/blue proc'd.

EDIT: The MB needed to be around 5k to trigger, doing 4k did nothing. The 2nd MB might not be needed.

Why bother with all that when you can just spam Tachi: Jinpu until it pops?

Did anyone beat this with less people yet? Means 8-10 or something like that.

Just to add to this, any Scission and Detonation WSs will work to make continuous SCs. Only Jinpu, Dancing Edge, Aeolian Edge, Fell Cleave, and Bora Axe have both properties, so you can just spam them, but a lot of jobs can do the same thing with two WSs.

I saw a SS that pops both legs and body NM. Any1 know how they have done it?

Perfidien:
5 Magic Kills (We use Water on Fire Elementals)
5 Magic Bursts
1 4 Step Skillchain

Plouton:
10 Magic Kills (We use whatever the elemental is weak to)
5x Double Magic Bursts (Try to be around 5k damage, but we did less at times- 2 People Magic Bursting the same skillchain)
1 6 Step Skillchain

Also, just repeat Jinpu for skillchains as it chains infinitely.
