Sounds like more high tier battles.
I wish they'd make high tier versions of ToAU, WotG, SoA and RoV final battles heh. Especially RoV, with such an awesome arena only being able to be seen once in a playthrough (other than helping others of course) it seems like a real waste.
Yeah I actually really enjoyed HTB, I've done every single one. I had an idea like that like 10 years ago to redo the mission battles with high level stats lol.
oh god poroggos and askar
Quote: Artifact Reforging The team would like to say a couple words about artifact reforging, a trending topic on this forum. We recently resolved an issue with the artifact reforging quest given by Monisette in Port Jeuno. The original prerequisites to receive this quest included progression up through the mission Garden of Antiquity in the Chains of Promathia storyline, but we had discovered that it was possible to undertake the quest under certain circumstances even if the prerequisites were not met. As of this version update, players are no longer be able to reforge these items without meeting the proper requirements. If you find yourself unable to continue reforging your artifact equipment due to this change, please don't worry. You will be able to continue after completing the aforementioned mission. Quote: Announcing the Next Version Update (09/23/2016) The next version update is scheduled for early October. Highlights include a switchover of Ambuscade foes and spoils as well as a quest to obtain a new alter ego. We hope you're looking forward to early autumn in Vana'diel! I hope AA elf lady doesn't disappoint like GK. Always been my favorite AA with TT being a close second. Perhaps she'll be a decent tank.
Another crappy update. I guess I should unsub until they add something real.
ugh... orobon. so orobon regular + poroggo intense
Orobons and Poroggos both love them some charm.

I think the general complaint is that the rewards are recycled, no less desired, but the same every month. However the task to get them varies so much. For example, last month, VD Intense was so awesome... 1200 points in minutes. This month, doing Intense even on N is a drop in efficiency. Mobs that charm may also just suck up time in an event that requires the same fight to be won over and over and over dozens of times. It is no surprise that people are having a negative reaction to added content that is less fun than what was available the month before... Offline

Are we going to blame the devs because we want easier fights? That is counter intuitive. I don't think intense was ever intended to be put on farm status. That it could be done last month was probably an oversight on the devs' parts.

I don't think we should expect one but not the other.
Ideally, Intense Ambuscade should initially be a challenge to discover and work around its gimmicks. Once discovered, assuming the party can meet the necessary and narrow criteria, the fight should be quick and easy so we're free to enjoy the other content and campaigns available during the month. Why should Intense Ambuscade be a slogfest? Offline

For content like Ambuscade, I want an option that's hard and fast. Not easy and slow vs. hard and slow.
I wouldn't call another month of ambuscade adding content, more so adjusting and recycling the same old stuff.
Once again I said nothing about content I said "***update and ***campaigns". Neither of those are so to say "adding" much of anything. eliroo said: » Yea stupid Dev team how dare you continue adding content! I hate all oof you Oh crap they added content? Why didn't they annouced it on their next version update that they just released? Lol Asura.Foreverj said: » Another crappy update. Can we get a road-map for the next year, like we have in the past? permalinkembedsavereportgive goldreply [–]FFXI_DevTeam[S] 15 points 1 month ago Q: FFXIの今後の予定などあれば教えていただけますでしょうか? We’re planning to have monthly Ambuscade content as well as Master Trials and quests through Records of Eminence every other month leading up to March of next year. Essentially we will be continuing on with this type of cycle, so there is no plan to release a road map. -------------------- That could be a long wait. |
