All jokes included, but I just don't remember anything nostalgic about 2001-2006 ffxi that would make me want to repeat that part of history. My most memorable FFXI experience from over a decade ago was claiming King Behemoth without bots, and then dying two seconds later. You gonna make me relive that?
in my screenshots, I remember doing Twinkling Treant, back in 2003. It was pretty nostalgic, other than that, I wouldn't be surprised if the RoE was de-leveling in Dunes 0/100

Most nostalgic bit for me, aside from the starting couple of months (I started with the PS2 casuals wave of April 2004) when everything was new and overwhelming was the CoP storyline. The difficulty and the dungeon designs were on another tier.
Promathia Aqueducts with the stair climbing animation felt straight out of D&D. Also really loved the Promy zones , sea and Lufaise Meadows You guys forgot to add train to crawler's nest entrance and stand outside for hours screaming at people to not go in and aggro the train again.
For Pro-level challenge. Do this by pulling Tzee the manifest to the entrance of Castle O with all the yags from previous floors above. Offline

I get nostalgic just walking out of Windurst and listening to the music in sarabaruta. Nope not nostalgic at all. I spent probably a year or longer on dragoon looking for party, as evidenced by my first bullet point. Finally made 75 mnk after giving up drg but it was a brutal grind.
Sky deco parties were pretty fun pre haste nerf. Could engage disengage almost immediately with no attack delay. Fun times. First experience party!

Even considered writing up one about Lv.75 cap while running the gauntlet around Uleguerand range to get KI to start Brothers + completing one of those ENMs 10x. Quote: Freshly Picked Vana'diel 34 Digest Hi, there! To coincide with the July version update, Producer Akihiko Matsui held another Freshly Picked Vana'diel to go over some of the new content and discuss other topics pertinent to adventuring. The following is a digest of what was discussed. This time around, Director Yoji Fujito made the post on behalf of Matsui. Quote: Thank you for tuning into Freshly Picked Vana'diel 34. For those of you who were not able to catch the broadcast live, or just simply want a recap on all the information the archived video is available and I've organized this digest. YouTube Video Placeholder Table of Contents Version Update Battle Content: Ambuscade 15th Vana’versary Fujito’s /shout Version Update (0:06:19) This segment focused on the major aspects of the July version update. Battle Content: Ambuscade (0:06:49) Video showed live gameplay of Director Fujito challenging the Ambuscade Primer Volume Two. While it may look like you're going up against a Treant, Rafflesia, and Snapweed, once you land an attack, you'll notice that you’re up against vermin. The types of monsters that will spawn is set, so please select the one you wish to fight against. Also, as long as you don’t touch the plant type monsters, the next monster will not spawn, so you'll be able to call out your alter egos during this time. Login Campaign Revival (0:14:26) We collected opinions regarding which items to bring back into the login campaign. We'll be looking into some of the suggestion received, so please look forward to it. During the show, we asked our viewers for their opinion and saw many request for a "Magic Pot" mount, so we'll consider that, as well as few other requests we received during the show. Regarding the selling of uncommon items by NPCs (0:18:47) On the Japanese forums, there is a discussion regarding whether or not NPCs should sell "Sleeping Potions." We responded back stating that we'll consider either selling them at a high price, or sell them in exchange for materials. However, we received feedback stating that the issue can be resolved simply by collecting the materials, or that if we sell the items through NPC, that it may take away means for crafters to make money for this time. We asked our viewers for their opinion, and saw suggestion for other items to be sold through NPCs as well. If you have any suggestions on items which you would like to see sold from an NPC, please be sure to leave a feedback on the forums. In addition to this, if you have recently started playing or returned to the game and noticed any part of the main story which requires collecting certain items which are difficult to obtain, be sure to leave feedback on those as well, so we can look into them. We'll try our best and see if we can address these issues. Please note that this is more of a type of support for those starting the game or returning to the game that may have trouble progressing through the story. 15th Vana’versary (0:32:12) Continuing from last time, in this segment we introduced various upcoming events to celebrate the 15-year anniversary. The One I Can Trust (0:32:37) We receive a lot of entry submissions, so we'd like to say thank you! In the show, we introduced popular NPCs and popular Sphere effects. The final results are scheduled to be announced in September. Let’s Go! Vana’diel Day! (0:45:39) The first one was very well received and the next is scheduled to take place on July 15. The details will be kept a secret until the day of event. Unlike other campaigns, the changes are very subtle, and in there as a small bonus. 15th Vana'versary Objectives (0:53:10) We have a special Records of Eminence objectives with "Reliving Experiences" as the theme. It is based on the road that adventurers have traveled until now. This event is divided into five parts. The objective of the first part requires adventurers to travel around the three nations and pick up on the things which were popular among players when service first began. We brought back the "Mythril Marathon" as well. The rewards will be an anniversary-related item (details are hidden until the fifth part is implemented), and the "Dial Key #ANV," which might reward you with something better than a special dial, maybe. Fujito’s /shout (1:06:28) Fujito made announcements about current campaigns and events. Celestial Nights It lasts until July 13, 23:59 (JST), so if you haven’t participated yet, don’t forget. July 2017 Login Campaign The featured prize for the July 2017 Login Campaign is a Xzomit mount. The cool looking color fits in perfectly for a day on the beach in the summer! Summer Alter Ego Extravaganza This year's Summer Alter Ego Extravaganza is scheduled for August. Those who have returned recently can take this opportunity to obtain lots of alter egos, so be sure to check it out! Job-Specific Equipment Reforging Campaign As the name suggests, there will be tons of campaign which will help augmenting job specific armor such as Artifact armor and Empyrean armor. A new campaign that makes it easier to obtain job cards in Omen will also take place, so please make use of it. Well, the next “Freshly Picked Vana’diel” is scheduled for September. We’ll be doing our best to bring you tons of fresh content next time as well, so don't miss out! Until then, see you! Quote: Hi, everyone! Thank you for those tasty suggestions! We've shared your responses with the dev. team and they mentioned that there will be more food added in the future. We hope that the new dishes sate your appetite! Please look forward to the next meals being served up! http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/52780-New-Food-stat-combo-ideas

Dragon repop time is like 10 - 15 min I think? Kill Time = 3 min. At 1000 per kill = 350 Dragon kill= 4550 min = 75hr Full run= 4hr x7=28 Total hr required = 103hr/7 = 14hr of playing per day. Also, you never actually need a full 50k beads (minus the first one) for a KI since you're getting beads while doing the NMs.

2 Aeonics is ambitious enough, and that's hard core by modern standards.
I'm fine with 1x Aeonic per week. Not like they're going to nerf SMN any time soon. Leviathan.Comeatmebro

you guys are all wrong on your math and speed
reisen t1s are 30(60 with blessing) + luck, so max 71 zitah t3s are 90(180 with blessing) + luck, so max 191 i've personally clocked 0-50k beads in 7 hours in zitah i do shockmaw and use an unwanted mule to rebuy KI while i fight(mage group is lazier for me and it dies in 2 fusion even with 12+6 leeches.. nothing wrong with behe for melee group).. downside is that the unwanted mule doesn't get beads since they have to range battlefield to buy new ki (Seriously though, how the fk has smn not been nerfed yet?)
