I use this pet all the time on non-ilvl stuff like Ein/Nyzul farming. His AoE is huge and he can drop a heal on you in the rare chance that you need it. Never thought about using him to heal the party, though...

Has anyone tried (and won) Odin Prime HTMB as solo bst?
I gave it a go a while back but he killed all my trusts with Zantetsuken (and my pet) and couldnt finish it

The trick would be to either lower its attack greatly or increase your defense (or both). With solo bst are there pets that would be suitable for either enough to survive the move?

I was thinking more like a defensive pet, like Jovial Edwin ( even tho i believe its only for the master), or Herald Henry or the fish?
That would extend the def bonus to the whole party (trusts)

Give him Subtle Blow +100% and he'd actually be pretty darn good for those times you want to focus entirely on master instead of pet/both. Would effectively become a 0TP-feed physical DOT that activates Tandem.
So it's looking like I'm going to have to end up gearing BST for my Odyssey group for Mboze, can someone give me a run down of what gear/sets I need specifically only for tackling Mboze?
For Mboze, none. DT gear like Nyame, some pet food if you want, some pet-DT% If you want. From my understanding, TP Drainkiss can't miss, and Nyame already comes with a whopping +250 pet magic accuracy even if you did need it. Visit the BGWIKI talk page for Mboze, it gives a pretty straightforward rundown of what BST does for the fight. But from my understanding, there are no hard gear requirements for BST.

Make sure you cap out ready recast (just merits + gleti pants really as long as you're 100jp or more). Amount absorbed varies with TP too, so empy+1 gloves are pretty nice for the 600 TP bonus.
Would also recommend some version on the relic hat for the killer instinct augment and 5/5 killer instinct for max duration on that.
Rest shouldn't really matter too much like Buukki said.
EDIT: Forgot about relic gloves, those are pretty much mandatory for anything you do involving a pet or they'll randomly spawn 1-2 levels lower. Also 5/5 Beast affinity merits or the leech is capped at level 99.

Everytime i use /sea all bst there are easily 10-20 fellow bsts together in one area.
Like, right now i see 12 beastmasters in woh gates
And its not the first time i notice this

I just found out about Totemic trousers +3, i completely missed that piece.
Is there any gear combo that let us keep KI up or is the 1m downtime inevitable?
