Nice, company's working together to make movies worth watching. Turns out they like money after all. All we need now is Wolverine and the nerdgasm will be complete.

That's very exciting for sure...I had given up hope of Spiderman joining the MCU Avengers, seeing Norman Osbourne as Iron Patriot, or them ever having a Secret Invasion/Dark Reign story combo. :p

Maybe all of that might happen someday. ^^

that would also mean they would have to quit killing off bad guys every movie to get a good roster for the heroes to go against lol

they whould need Absorbing Man, Doctor Doom, Doctor Octopus, the Enchantress, Kang the Conqueror, Klaw, the Lizard, Molecule Man, Titania, Ultron, Volcana, and the Wrecking Crew. and also Galactus was a non aligned villain in it iirc to keep it close to the comics, bad guy wise, marvel whould also need to get the F4 and xmen back to be perfect

Fantastic news for both studios.

TaSM II lost a lot more box office money than Sony would like to admit. Well, we know how much it lost thanks to the whole Sony hack fiasco, but still. This gives Sony a chance to recover while giving Marvel and more importantly the fans what they want. Age of Ultron has long since finished shooting so we won't see Spider-Man in there unless, UNLESS, he appears in one of the three alleged post-credits stingers.

We might see him in Captain America: Civil War and we might also see him in Doctor Strange and/or Ant-Man.

Wasn't this released during the Sony email hack late last year?

there was emails on how much sony lost on TAS2 and teaming with marvel was one of the things they where looking into. the announcement yesterday pretty much made it official, and honestly im glad they did this. having 2 studios working together, if successful, will open up major possibilities in the future

Thinking about it some more it would be an epic curveball and would be incredibly awesome if, rather than rebooting Peter Parker's story with yet another actor in the role, opt to go with Miles Morales as the 'new' Spider-Man.

that whould be awsome, kill Garfield's parker in no 3 and get miles in lol.
personally i want a 2099 movie, as well as bringing in the scarlet spiders. but that whould be more of a TV thing if they did it

Can't help but feel there will be a bombshell of a stinger at the end of Ant-Man in which we're introduced to Miles Morales. Imagine the uproar in the theatre if that's what happens. Spider-Man will be in Captain America: Civil War. Can bet your bottom dollar on it.

also i forgot to mention Garfield is out~
