Street Fighter 5
YouTube Video Placeholder Rainbow Mika Returns!! *** yeah! The one character I've wanted to return since he only appearance.
Her being able to call in Yamato Nadeshiko for tag team moves is friggin awesome. Ohji Lunartail said: » ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I think it would awesome if her tag team partner Yamato Nadeshiko were also made playable. They could give her a similar style, but have her tag moves calling in Mika be completely different. Anticipation building up once again!

Is SFV coming straight to PC?
Also does a PS3 Arcade stick work with PC? Worldwide simultaneous release on both platforms, PS4 and PC.
The fight stick thing is kind of a hot button issue that there hasn't been much info from Capcom on thus far. One would assume that any PC compatible stick would work, however, given that the game is built on PS4's architecture, we don't know just yet. Bear in mind that while sticks made for PS4 tend to have a PS3 mode, PS3 controllers tend not to work on PS4. PC is a whole different animal, but we'll see. Confusion about the PS4 and PS3 sticks also comes from the fact that Mike Z of Lab Zero Games (maker of Skullgirls) released a custom USB driver that allows PS3 arcade sticks to be used on PS4. He's also stated that he will license this custom driver for free to any company who wants to use it.
I haven't heard any word of Capcom using this driver or not. Most I know aren't taking the chance and are either building PS4 sticks or modding their current sticks. I hope it works. I would like to get back into fighting games but my PS3 is dying on me so looking to play on PC (totally not because of nude mods or anything). I still have a SFIV stick sitting around that never saw much use.
Announced in Dubai. Rashid almost seems like a cross between a male Chun-Li, Kim Kaphwan, a capoierista, and a wind djinn.
YouTube Video Placeholder I'm actually pretty hype for this guy. His speedster style has potential for lots of rushdown and cross up confusion.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Capcom is treading a fine line with him though, as he's very close to looking stereotypical. Had his cyclone effects even the slightest hint of brown or yellow, Middle Easterners could very well have been offended by him (referencing them as "sand people"). And the hits just keep on comin'!

Kinda digging her take on the old one inch punch.

I never found Karin to be an interesting character at all. If anything I'd like Garuda but that won't happen cause Capcom doesn't own him D:
I guess its time to await Akuma/Gouki release! Karin may not have been a favorite of mine from Alpha/Zero 3, but I love that we are getting to see variety with SF5. I'm more for roster diversity than continuing to lean on the "old guard". That's why I was so psyched when the Brazillian fighter turned out to be Necalli instead of Blanka. Also why I'm so pumped that Mika, who actually was one of my favorites, was added for a comeback and Rashid was created.
Mika was created so the huge boobs and butt distracts your opponent. Gives you the upper hand in tournaments. <.<
edit: and you know blanka could make a special appearance later...cause Ono Lakshmi.Lenus said: » Mika was created so the huge boobs and butt distracts your opponent. Gives you the upper hand in tournaments. <.< Sarcasm aside, Mika was actually created to put a new spin on the grappler paradigm. Anyone actually distracted by that needs to straighten out their priorities in life. And I love grapplers in fighting games. Haggar from UMVC3 and Potemkin from GG series are among my favorites. On the rare ocassion when I'd traverse the Tekken field, I was always partial to King and Armor King. Grapplers were always fun to play, but impacted heavily due to its set of moves or speed. I wouldn't mind if Mika was high mid or top tier in this version for a change. But Birdie looks to be taking that spot but I dunno if he would count as a grappler? But anyway, I agree with you on the character roster variety they've taken with SF5. But you'll always see Ryu/Ken/Akuma/Sagat though. Thats what im guessing on the last bit of characters :P
Juri making a return would be a suprise and cool. She never really got shine until this last EVO thanks to Aiai. Fighting games are rife with female speedsters, and because of that, I wasn't too fond of Juri as far as gameplay goes. Her backstory however made her a monumental character in my book though. Unfortunately, fighting games are always weak on the story department, leaving those like me that thrive on storytelling to delve into the official fiction created for them.
With regard to roster diversity, I love that they are creating new faces and bringing back others we haven't seen in awhile. Then again, I'm one of the few that was onboard with the original idea behind Street Fighter 3, where Alex was the main star and the only Shotokan character was supposed to be Sean. While technically, Alex is still the star, we all know how the roster turned out. And with them on the roster, focus instantly shifts from new faces to old guard. Shiva.Kingmancat said: » And with them on the roster, focus instantly shifts from new faces to old guard. Yeah, you will get people who enjoy the newer characters' moveset and run with it (I have a friend who liked using Hugo, always kicked the ***out of me when we fought each other) but people tend to stick with what they know best. Just wait for Super SF5/Arcade Edition for more characters <.<
