0/2 so far, but 3 treasure pools has me optimistic
Did Thunderspark method, slow but effective
Also did Flaming Crush Method, took (3) 10k BPs to put them down but recommend using Meteor Strike because both frequently use Perfect Dodge

If so, does anyone happen to know which? All are Zelos Orb (50 Kindred Crest) BCs: Corvine (Hrafn) - Horlais Peak: Last Orc-Shunned Hero Supernal (Tenryu) - Waughroon Shrine: Shell Shocked Transitory (Kheper) - Balga's Dais: Avian Apostates Foreboding (Auspex) - Chamber of Oracles: Dragon Scales Lenitive (Paean) - Sacrificial Chamber: Whom Wilt Thou Call The above is correct. You can verify it by looking the abjurations up on FFXIDB. Just a correction, it's Deimos Orb, not Zelos. The Dragon Scales fight is stupid easy on blu with subduction spam. 1.5 mins per fight. Takes longer to npc the drops and clear out inventory than anything else. Just landed Foreboding Body, but I already have that. :/
I gave up trying to balance damage with Nirvana. It's just a straight zerg-fest for me. Offline

How much damage are you hitting them for with Nirvana? Just curious. I'm averaging 10-12k w/o
Zoltar said: » How much damage are you hitting them for with Nirvana? Just curious. I'm averaging 10-12k w/o Thunderspark was only hitting one of them for whatever reason so I switched to Predator Claws (which took roughly half their HP) for around 14k-ish damage - give or take. I had a few missed BP's before I realized they periodically do Perfect Dodge. -_- Offline

that's funny because I had the same issue with thunderspark and I believe it's because the dragons are so big that they aren't close enough to hit both of them at the same time with thunderspark
350 Seals - 0 Drops.
What's the fastest way to farm seals? :( I'm just going to work on Unity quests or solo in Gates to farm them. Pantafernando said: » Login points. Or ask someone to merc it, should have someone with countless crests, like me, that could burn them for some cash. Pantafernando said: » Login points. I burned 4400 points on Crests. It's a shame you can't mule for them. Offline

0/10 so far, but I did get Foreboding Abj: Legs
Still no hands, about 500 KC's left ;; During this same campaign, seals are dropping as many as 6 at a time (based on party size). Going to an Abyssea worm party, you'll see the treasure pool filled with Kindred Crests. It's like, each party in the alliance can get seals to drop every 5 minutes, so in a 5 minute time you could see as many as 18 Kindred Crests.

0/16 now, just got Foreboding Abj: Head >.>
1/9 on hands. Now to get the head.
Also got feet on the same orb as hands. Got body on first run. Since it's gonna be difficult to get the Hexed Gages -1 I decided to dbox my foreboding hands I got yesterday and try to get another (so I can NQ one while I wait for a HQ) Now I'm 2/2... if only my luck would be like this in other area of the game!

Does Treasure Hunter affect this?
I've gotten both of mine without TH, someone said earlier in the thread that it does not but I'm not sure myself
Crevox said: » Does Treasure Hunter affect this? I think no, because supposedly just works "unlocking" drop slots, and those bcnm have a fixed number of drop slots (6 drops per nm killed that can drop). Most believed theory is th do not affect what item will drop from a drop slot (dring/pixie earring case). Offline

Yay, got it third try, thanks very much for sharing this info!
Highest damage I did was a 18900 Flaming Crush, no Nirvana of course. Can the other area's that drop different Legion Abjuration be solo'd with say MNK or THF? Seeing as this is old content. Or does the area that includes 6 mobs a bit harder?
Well it took around 3+ hours but I'm also 5/5 (woot). I can honestly say that I agree that the Foreboding Hands are much more rare (on average) than the other pieces. At least 5 Bodies dropped, 3 Feet, 2 Legs, 4 Head and 1 Hands. I spent a few rounds trying to farm a 2nd Abj like Harmless did but after around midnight I ran out of gas and was too tired to continue.
A super huge shout-out is in order to Decimation for burning an absolute ton of seals to help me obtain this Abjuration. After burning 350 of my own seals to no avail, I was starting to think I may not get them. Thanks! Gratz bro...
Gonna attempt today for those pieces. Anyone on Bismarck can hmu around 11 am est if they wanna tag along. Offline

I'll offer my solo services to anyone on Bahamut who needs help burning their crests
Here's what worked best for me: Ifrit Crimson Howl Apogee FC dragon1 FC dragon2 Alternate FCs on dragons until dead Fwiw, I don't care what anyone says about thf not helping, because when my thf friend came we had a drop much more frequently than without Zoltar said: » I'll offer my solo services to anyone on Bahamut who needs help burning their crests Here's what worked best for me: Ifrit Crimson Howl Apogee FC dragon1 FC dragon2 Alternate FCs on dragons until dead Fwiw, I don't care what anyone says about thf not helping, because when my thf friend came we had a drop much more frequently than without Apogee is so awesome... I opened with it in order to do Predator Claws on both of the Dragons. Them raging really wasn't a huge ordeal but it helped balance the fight instead of having a half-dead Dragon and full HP Dragon starting to rage while waiting on the BP timer. Offline

Isn't it dandy? :) it's going to be great for the new Wards too! The only drawback to this strategy is where one of your dragons resists the Rage and there is a HP imbalance. When this happens, put your pet on the one that resists and DD a bit, it'll even out. Also suggest /rdm for buffs. I'm lazy and went /blm and it almost cost me a few fights Offline

Treasure Hunter absolutely helps. First day trying we went as SMN+BLU and got only 1 abjuration (body). The next day we did about the same number of runs as SMN+THF and got 5 abjurations (head x2, hands, feet x2).
As for Flaming Crush damage... 10-26k using Nirvana... derp. Also if anyone on Odin needs hexed gear made, send me a tell. I'll craft for free if you have the materials. I have Alchemy 110+12 :) Offline

The highest I did was 19k with crappy Tumafyrig, I can't wait for Nirvana.
