jump ship at the first sign of trouble.
For metals anyway. Love scanning craigslist for people trying to dump their silver and gold at rock bottom prices when prices drop and don't rise within a week, lol.

Housing market is bubbling up, student loan bubble, stock market bubble (especially Dow Jones), and of course all that cheap money is going to produce some extraordinary consequences. I was thinking they were going to pass the buck to the ECB, but instead Japan took it for now. All while wages and therefore savings have stagnated. To be fair though I haven't looked into the U.S. housing market in detail, but I could see buying cheap land because of fracking as a viable investment right now, that is until the fracking industry bursts as well. Remember fracking is only profitable as long oil remains above $70 a barrel. Altimaomega said: » Anyone interested and/or collect Rare coins, gold, and silver on this site? I've been hearing and kinda had the feeling silver is about to sky rocket wondering if anyone else has heard any news or has any feeling on the subject. Also, found an odd penny the other day, "looks" like it was spooned or been in a washing machine to long. However it is the same size and weight of a normal penny but has a raised rim on each side. Been scouring the internet looking for any info on it. Leviathan.Chaosx said: » Altimaomega said: » Anyone interested and/or collect Rare coins, gold, and silver on this site? Speaking of pennies, spent 2 hours today going through swarms of them and found this one from 1874.

I thought I sold off all of these years ago and to top it off it's a 1986 one. Leviathan.Chaosx said: » Asura.Kingnobody said: » never seen one of those before, what does it say around the head? Even though the regular ones are zinc coated they stick to magnets from the steel just from aging. So thanks a lot guys. I was supposed to be cleaning out the basement today instead just sifted through pennies all day, lol. I forgot my wire cutters anyway. Also I had this page up: Value of Wheat Pennies of the USA I would go through my stash of coins, but my sister has half of them in Missouri.
Never did an apportionment on them either, didn't really care that much at the time lol. If you have any Carson City Morgan Silver Dollars, let me know! Pre 1900 onry!

I only found 3 in my work stash. 44 56 D 57 D now I'm going to have to sit in my truck after work & go through that stash. My indifference towards chaosx is turning into a slight hatred. Also if you find a penny from this year (1909), with this mint mark (S), this size (compared to the quarter I placed it next to), and in this good of a condition then let me know. >:P

I can feel the love emanating from this thread.
I think this damn 1990 penny is worth more than one cent because of people who collect these. http://errorcoins.auctivacommerce.com/Error-Cents-C143399.aspx?sid=12254?s=Name%20ASC&p=4 The only problem is the error I have isn't on this list. Dunno if that make it super rare or just plain worthless. I'm fairly sure its not a damaged coin everything looks legit.. Its just deep struck on both sides.
