Comrades, there are wreckers in our midst. The industrialist reactionaries at Burger King have declared their intention to abandon the struggle and join the ranks of the enemy in rightist Canada.
Looks like they don't want to pay their "fair share"!
Oh yeah, wanna know who's on the bank rolling the money to do this? Liberal Warren Buffet!
On a side note, I imagine it would be a good time to buy stock in BK, as their value will most certainly rise once they can keep more of their profits!

I'm so very torn here.
I really hate companies leaving US soil to dodge taxes.
...
But I looooooove Tim Horton's. It's vastly superior to anything in the States. And I'm hoping this means more Timmy Ho's stateside. =(

Simple: stop going to BK.
or end NAFTA.

another thing they should start to crack down on: work visas, there's no reason we should be importing so much work, when there's so many unemployed here.
It would be impossible to level the playing field to the international market of products and labor if we want to maintain healthy working conditions, and safety practices, not to mention several other things. So take your pick: labor camps for a nickel an hour, or cutting off tariff free international trade, and start bringing jobs home again?

I'm still irked that you can't get a burger from Burger King at any time of day they're open, I mean it's like going to Pizza hut and them only serving salads from 2-4.

I dont see what the problem is here, not like BK serves good food anyways.

Mcdonalds doesn't have the name of the food in their store name.
If it were Mcfrys, and they didn't serve fries when they were open, I'd *** about it just the same.
edit: when it's fresh, it's not that horrible, and a burger from a broiler isn't too shabby.

But I looooooove Tim Horton's. It's vastly superior to anything in the States. And I'm hoping this means more Timmy Ho's stateside. =( Good for Burger King to do so. Problem is, they still have to pay the US corporate tax rate for US earned income.
Since Canadian Tax Code is similar to US Tax Code, this will create a foreign tax credit on the Canadian taxes. Just not as much.
One thing to note is: This move will exempt them from ACA requirements, because ACA only affects domestic companies.
Long story short: Burger King does not get out of paying US taxes, but they do get out of ACA requirements.
Let's see if Wally World is the next to do this. If more of these companies take this avenue, that would essentially make ACA worthless.

If I were a competitor I'd dye my burger patties red/white/blue and sell God Bless America burgers. Then I'd have the CEO talk ***about skipping out on the best country in teh world to dodge taxes.

I never knew Burger King had a breakfest menu before I heard last week they were trying to join with Tim hortons, interesting.
The 2 giants really have a hold on canada, would be nice to see Burger King or Wendy's grow to subway or McDonald's level.
Love me some Wendy's...mmmmm.....Baconator! >:Q....

I'm a sit-in restaurant type of guy.
You can take your grease burgers and keep them!
Edit: Ok, I do eat Taco Bell every now and then, but only to clear my bowels. It at least tastes better than prunes.

I contest that.
I don't think Jack-Carls are overpriced for what they offer, even if they are microwave food.
In&Out I will actually argue that they aren't Microwave food. Easily the best Fast Food chain in terms of quality. I even overlook the fact that they put Bible Quotes on the bottom of their cups, because they're that good.
Pricey though, and too much lettuce.
I don't really do a lot of Fast Food, maybe once a month tops, about as much as I drink alcohol now.
The best local Junk food place in my town is a little restraunt called S.S. Burgers. Me and my friends want to save up enough money one day just to take over the place and change the slogan.
S.S. Burgers: Food Done the Reich way!

Maybe in Live Oak if that's the "hip" thing to go eat for fast food >.>

I'm not sure how far In&Out has spread East, but it's predominantly a West-Coast thing, maybe even just California. The original one is still open in Baldwin Park CA (EST1948) I think.

Looks yummy. Donut burgers are a regular thing at the Big E in Massachusetts every year. They've been a staple there since 2008.
