Do you think a person suffering from Ebola a fever might sweat a little more than usual? Or maybe they don't sweat from their hands but rather their brow and they wipe their brow with their hands before forking over 40 bucks to a cashier.
So now we're back to botox as the solution? Jesus Nausi make up your mind!

Add a tin foil hat and a paranoia that the First Lady is being blackmailed by all the farmers to eat and buy all their crops to fight obesity and we got a winner.

How is it spread?

The natural reservoir of the virus is unknown and it is not always clear how the virus first appears in humans. Usually the first person gets infected through contact with an infected animal.

People can be exposed to Ebola virus from direct physical contact with body fluids like blood, saliva, stool, urine, sweat etc. of an infected person and soiled linen used by a patient.

It can be spread through contact with objects, such as needles, that have been contaminated with infected secretions.

That was a quick 48 hours.

Quote:
The Texas Department of State Health Services says negative results were returned from a lab in Austin Thursday, indicating that a Dallas County deputy who had fallen ill does not have the Ebola virus.

Dallas County's Sgt. Michael Monnig was taken from a Frisco CareNow clinic Wednesday afternoon to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas after he had some, but not all, symptoms of Ebola.

The hospital said earlier Thursday that Monnig was in "good condition" and didn't have any symptoms.

We should absolutely be banning people from Ebola stricken areas from entering the country. A 90% mortality rate is nothing to *** with. Americans deserve better from their government, than to be needlessly exposed to this risk.

I'm not sure if I fully support a flight ban yet. I think flights to the stricken countries could be restricted minus, international assistance(researchers, physicians, etc).

Liberia attacks British Airways for suspending flights to Ebola-hit country

Quote:
BA suspended its four-times-weekly flights to Liberia and Sierra Leone back in early August, cutting off the only direct links between Britain and the Ebola-infected area of west Africa. It has now extended that suspension until the end of March, amid ongoing concern about "the deteriorating public health situation in both countries"

Quote:
"We need as many airlines coming in to this region as possible, because the cost of bringing in supplies and aid workers is becoming prohibitive," he said. "There just aren't enough seats on the planes. I can understand BA's initial reaction back in August, but they must remember this is a global fight now, not just a west African one, and we can't just be shut out."

Meanwhile in Spain:

Quote:
The pet dog of the Spanish Ebola patient was euthanized today despite a plea from the owner to spare the pet and a worldwide outcry.

Javier Limon, who owned the dog along with Ebola patient Teresa Romero Ramos, burst into tears when told the mixed breed dog Excalibur had been put down according to Carlos Rodriguez, the host of a Spanish radio show who called Limon.

Limon is in quarantine while his wife is being treated for Ebola in an isolation unit at a Madrid hospital.

Spain’s Ministry of Health confirmed the dog had been euthanized, and said it was sedated before it was put down.

Police escorted a health team into the building and scuffled with animal rights activists who tried to prevent them from entering the apartment. Protesters screamed "killer" as they tried to block the ambulance.

Police with batons later cleared a path as they left the building with the dog.

Madrid officials feared that the dog could be carrying the virus even though it would not develop symptoms, could possibly pass it to humans with a bite or a lick.

Limon, who along with two others have been quarantined for observation, pleaded in a video for help to convince authorities to spare his dog, claiming, "They want to kill him for no reason."

Hundreds of thousands of people signed a petition urging health authorities to spare Excalibur.

Limon's wife is a nurse's aide who contracted the disease after helping to care for a Spanish priest who had been working in West Africa. The priest died of Ebola.

So the book on Dallas can pretty much be closed. As long as the CDC continues to stay on top of this, there is no reason for US citizens to be worried about Ebola.

Hey man, the threat of a rouge rocket was enough to ban flights from Israel. Pretty sure Ebola is more of a threat than that.

Restricting consumer flights isn't a big deal imo until the countries with widespread ebola get it under control.

However, I don't see that happening unless another case besides Spain happens. So far there haven't been any additional confirmed cases in the US.

Well,
Quote:

So as long as you're not sucking the balls of a sick person, you should be good, but just to be on the safe side, don't do any sodomy, or hj's with them either. But they have to be showing signs to be contagious, and idk about you, but if I were experiencing some of these, sex^1 wouldn't be on my list of things I'd want to do.

1.
Quote:
Fever
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Sore throat
Joint and muscle aches
Stomach pain
Headache
Measles like rash
A rash, red eyes, hiccups and Bleeding from body openings may be seen in some patients

So you're saying that Botox can be used to reduce the transmission of ebola via sweaty balls? lol

I'm saying that bodily fluids including sweat contain the virus, but it's only contagious if they're sick, if you want to suck the nuts of a sick person, well that's your prerogative.
