The Chinese are God's chosen people anyway, point is moot.

That's not fair, I need some love from god as well :(
God does not love nor hate. You need living beings for those types of feelings.

That's contradiction!
No it's not. Love and hate are both passionate feelings. An all power and perfect entity does not require any passion.

How so?

If God is above humanity, as he is portrayed in all religious texts, then why should you attribute human emotion to a being above humanity?

Seems like the logical conclusion to me.

God throws a d20 to decide the next move of the universe.

When you have to take an important decision imagine a pantheon of superior beings playing d&d.

DM rolls dice
"She says no, his heart is shattered into one million pieces"
Meanwhile on Earth a poor guy cries himself to sleep.

I fail to understand - is god then dead? Or does he not exist? or do you mean that there must be living beings through which god must have said emotions felt for him?

It's not so easy to dismiss supernatural, but I'll leave at that cause I don't wanna derail further.

The ones I want to believe in are easily dismissed.

When you're already someone who is skeptical about...everything...and what you're already inclined to feel may be correct is easily dismissed, the things of which you're already doubtful aren't that hard to dismiss either without some pretty solid proof to the contrary.

Perhaps there are degrees of the phenomena we refer to as emotions? Does a mother's love for her children make her incapable of loving other children? Does the fact that we as humans recognize sadness and happiness as emotions mean that he who created them does not, or is incapable of such?

God is neither dead nor alive. God exists to some and yet at the same time does not exist to others.

I left it vague on purpose cause I didn't want to derail, there's more to it.

Meanwhile this very conversation about attributing human traits to God(s) is exactly the kind of things that should be dismissed first and foremost when dealing with a possible phylosophy.

So God's existence is dependent on his creations?

I find this a far more realistic context for any sort of cosmic being than anything presented in the vast majority of religious texts throughout the course of human history.

One person gets it. Now if we could whatshisface on the topic, we'd get somewhere.

I'd have to go back to the beginning of this thread to remember his name.

Just remember the saying "You can't spell Ashkenazi without Nazi."

still no source on Hamas using civilians as human shields.
still no source on epic 1,400 year million jew kill count for muslims.

I'll be back in a few hours. Maybe by then you would have found something.
We have this joke in French of exaggerating Jews' suffering bit by bit.

So you'll start your sentence explaining that they've suffered for 1000 years. Then 2000, then 4000 and so on.
Same for the death toll. You begin in the lower 20k and end up at 20M or so.

That's exactly what the Zionist cries are based on: unknown numbers.
Even the numbers during WWII are highly disputed and cannot be guessed. People very often argue regarding the total number, being MUCH lower than it's shouted left and right, which in turn make them classified as people denying the Holocaust.

So, given that we can't know in general about what really happened, I wouldn't expect any clear number at all regarding what happened with Muslims specifically.

However, the human shield part can easily be verified, it happened within the past week.

Sounds realistic, I'd take that number as the real one given the information we have about what happened.

No, and that is about the dumbest thing I've read in this thread. Mostly due to the fact that there really isn't that many "innocent civilians" in that area, but you and your others will try to label them as such.

kinda late, but this is what I believe about god etc:

god is the only one that can create something out of nothing (all existing things are past-present) so that means he is the past, present and future (everything); he did not come from something nor has anything gave him shape. if you think god looks like X, Y or even Z then know that he does not look like any of those. we do not know everything so because we lack the knowledge of understanding beyond our experiences then thinking about anything beyond reality will only elude us from our presence on earth.

also, bowing down takes no pride and a lot of courage.
