There is no reason to believe the Universe hasn't always existed, the only thing that has ever supported a Creator is wishful thinking. Personally I've always thought the idea of a creator is the most disgusting self-centered thought of human nature. That we have some pre-concieved privilege in the Universe is nothing but the most obnoxious manifestation of human ego. Here's a weird thought. Rather than argue religion in general, let's try something more metaphysical for kicks and giggles. We all see things from a first-person point of view. How does that even happen? What is the criteria that places you in command of the brain you control as opposed to the brain of another being? And what is the criteria for sentience to begin with? Does your computer get a first-person point of view? How about single-cell organisms? I've actually spoken to single-celled organisms and yes, they do view the world from a first person point of view. Unfortunately you lack the mental capacity to communicate with them because I'm superior to you, so you'll have to take my word for it. Well, okay. If our recent conversations have proven anything, it's that I often take your word for things. It appears I gave you too much credit. Lol. I got the joke, which is why I responded with a sarcastic comment of my own. Forgive me if my retorts are not on cue tonight. Needz moar sleep.

That would've been a good one. Since I'm off my game, just go ahead and pretend you're me for a while. All you have to do is argue with yourself whenever you post something. GIFs and vids help, and make sure the argument lasts over a page.
Too bad accounts mirror post counts, I could have at least made a convincing-at-a-glance sock puppet war.

And he was not among those who associated others with Allah ." I don't know what makes you think when Muslims say "all messengers preached Islam" they mean current-day Islamic teachings (e.g. dietary laws, marriage laws, etc). It just means that the essence of the message is the same - submission to God. That's easily understood from the Quran/prophetic teachings. Check out 2:128-133. If you wanted only one person to respond to you, take it to PMs. Putting it out there for the public to see, don't be bitchy if somebody replies to it. Fried chicken is no joke.
Quote: An organization of veteran Israeli combatants says many Israeli soldiers have questioned Tel Aviv’s aggression on the Gaza Strip, as Israel stations its forces along the border with the besieged Palestinian enclave in preparation for yet another possible offensive. Yehuda Shaul, co-founder of Breaking the Silence organization, told RT on Wednesday that “There are a lot of soldiers who come back and say to themselves, 'What the hell are we doing here? Why are we using so much force? Why are we treating them this way?'” A rising number of soldiers have reportedly decided not to continue working with the army. A group of 50 reserve Israeli soldiers signed an open letter to the Washington Post last month, expressing their opposition to Israel’s current military operations in Gaza. “To us, the current military operation and the way militarization affects Israeli society are inseparable. In Israel, war is not merely politics by other means; it replaces politics. Israel is no longer able to think about a solution to a political conflict except in terms of physical might; no wonder it is prone to never-ending cycles of mortal violence,” the letter said. Israel has gone to war five times in the past eight years, three of them were against Gazans. The Israeli regime’s military attacks on the Gaza Strip claimed the lives of nearly 1,900 Palestinians, including more than 400 children, and wounded over 9,500 others. A 72-hour humanitarian truce between the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas and Israel took effect at 8 a.m. (0500 GMT) on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Israeli tanks were stationed near the Gaza border on Thursday, as the ceasefire is about to end. Imperialist Japan would like to have a word with the Israeli Military commanders about pressing too much into war and the eventual end effect.

After 4 years of marketing research, LEGO has come to the conclusion that girls want LadyFigs, a pink Barbielicious product line for girls, so 5 year-olds can imagine themselves at the café, lounging at the pool with drinks, brushing their hair in front of a vanity mirror, singing in a club, or shopping with their girlfriends. As LEGO CEO Jorgan Vig Knudstorp puts it, “We want to reach the other 50% of the world’s population.” fonewear said: » Basically Offline

Lego has set back the women's movement back at least a good ten to fifteen minutes. I demand action and some good gender neutral Legos.

This really hits me right in the positive body image zone:
https://www.change.org/petitions/h-m-use-plus-size-mannequins-in-your-stores H&M is one of the largest clothing retailers for young people in the world and we are thrilled that the store has been expanding its plus-size line and even ran an ad campaign for bathing suits featuring plus-size model Jennie Rusk. Yet when young women like us go into our local H&M stores, we only see the clothes displayed on mannequins that reflect one mainstream version of beauty, rather than the many sizes and shapes that girls really come in. That’s why we are asking H&M to commit to using mannequins of a diverse range of sizes in their stores.
