Really, you're going to cite a blog? really?

Why not, its true.

One guy's opinion is enough for Altima I guess.

Say's the co-leader of the church of Gore.
No, no it's not.

Also: cite one time where somebody on this forum actually has been pro-gore?

I'm Pro-Gore, but only insofar as his VO work on Futurama is concerned.

Then you really need to learn some basic science and reading comprehension, because I've never seen Pleebo be pro-gore, ever, cite?

Apparently his idea of "supporting Al Gore" is understanding and accepting well documented and sound science.

So all scientists that aren't in the pockets of big oil apparently "support Al Gore."

That's a special kind of stupid.

Not all scientists who don't fully support AGC are in the pockets of big oil. There are plenty of climate scientists that either don't endorse any specific cause or say that the research is too new to draw concrete conclusions, and I agree to some extent, but they are definitely in the extreme minority.

I was going to elaborate on that point, and I concur, but I got lazy on how to word it.

And Al Gore has as much to do with climate science as Wilford Brimley has to do with diabetes. Every time this thread gets bumped to the main page, humanity loses a few collective brain cells.

You don't see Wilford Brimley profiting from the fearmongering that is portrayed by Climate Scientists Al Gore followers.

I for one don't believe in gravity. I believe the the lord our Turtle keeps us on this flat earth and if we roll to the left hard enough we will fall into the netherverse. Find salvation in the Turtle or you will be forever damned to the netherverse. REPENT!

Not sure what the big deal is. We are in the 5th ice age in Earth's history. We are right smack in the middle where an interglacial period is occuring, where glaciers/ice retreat at a rapid pace and eventually earth plummets back into extensive ice cover.

I'm not a climate change denier - I merely question that anything outside the norm is occuring.

He gets paid to do those "PSA's" (by Liberty Medical- read fine print). And as for Gore profiting... I thought your peeps would cheer that on! Make up your damn mind!
Profit good, concern for environment bad.

I know Brimley is paid for Public Service Announcements.

That's not "fearmongering" like Al Gore does. That is an Inconvenient Truth

All the procedes from that film went to charity. That's not to say he isn't making money off some other aspect of it, but you're barking up the wrong tree. Any good liberal has to have a public connection to charity, even if it's only for show.

You mean after his cut, right?

I'm sure he got a couple of million from "speaker fees" there.

It's nice that he never released the full financials for the movie and shown how much of the money went to the charity of his choosing. That type of disclosure would be expected if anyone else but Al Gore made that statement....

I honestly figured David Suzuki would come under fire more than Al Gore for the blatant hypocrisy in contrast to fear mongering.

Al Gore is more related to US politics and well known than David Suzuki.
