these days its just kinda standard 2k or however much you can get a tele for.

Lol, it should be worshiped and put in a museum..it tells of the dark days, pre CoP, lvl75, HNMs, dynamis, fenrir/diabolos etc etc.
we used it quite a bit like I said, ignoring the lulzy stuff like it recommending smn/brd or drk being a terrible SJ..it had alot of useful information in it. Its in pretty good shape despite having a hole in the backcover. All the pages are still there, the bindings in tact, it has its FFX-2 advertisement in the back.

Maybe one day very far in the future you'll manage to make your money back on it from a very nostalgic FFXI player on eBay. lol

I just thought of this today, but remember when there was a 'knock' function when someone was on away status? I can faintly remember.

This thread makes me feel so new since I don't remember half of the things people talk about. lol Even the "RNG nerf" was just some weird thing I kept hearing about as I slowly leveled, never knowing how RNG was originally. Don't remember the knock either!

YES! And you could temp log off of FFXI onto POL! And people could search your name and it would say you were on POL...then they could send you a knock!
