There's also a racial divide at play where neighborhoods don't start to turn around until a certain white quotia is met. Nature of the beast. If you rent Union Square, Midtown, Williamsburg or any of the swanky places to live in the city then you might be living in a tenement building... but you're living in the heart of the city. Most of these buildings are also old developments. With slumlord owners who are milking out of towners willing to pay anything to say they live a few blocks from *insert famous area* here. I still say we go and build some new nuclear reactors this way, at the least we'd be able to shut the old less efficient (less safe) ones down.

US teen sex rate drops dramatically.

Where was the polling done? One area? Nationwide? City/rural? Income level in the area(s)? If 9th grade girls are getting breast implants I'm in the wrong profession...
