Hey Ramy, I'm thinking of a career change and I wanted your input on it.

Since, you know, thinking about you for some reason about this >.> <.<

They all sound dreadfully boring and not evil at all, really.

The manufacturing, I guess -- depending on type of product -- has a better long-term outlook for staying there long-term? Gas & oil seems awfully unpredictable right now to me. And you know how the country gets when it turns its back on something; see all the money the tobacco industry has to shell out for all its transgressions over the decades.

Well, the manufacturing company has been around for well over 100 years.

Oil & Gas is probably not going to go away for at least 30 more years, by which I will be retired and dgaff what happens after that.

When it comes to evil occupations I really think you can't do much better (worse?) than joining the clergy. The only downside is I'd say maybe it's too easy when you have such willing victims.

Those guys are constantly broke and doing what they do to scrape by.

Hating loggers and fishermen for being evil is like hating your cashier and thinking it has an effect on the Walton family at all.

Well, no, you're suggesting he should be one, but that's assuming that they're evil at all.

The reason you'd even go to a place like Whole Foods is for the ***you can't typically get at a lesser supermarket. Like their cheese, organic, beer, coffee or specialty products game.

You certainly don't want to be buying basic foodstuff there, RIP your wallet and your soul.

From their website might as well be from the Communist Manifesto:

We recognize there is a community of interest among all of our stakeholders. There are no entitlements; we share together in our collective fate. To that end we have a salary cap that limits the compensation (wages plus profit incentive bonuses) of any team member to nineteen times the average total compensation of all full-time team members in the company

We don't have Wegmans in NYC! Not many at least.

Trader Joes typically has many of the same specialty items people would drop into a Whole Foods for. Really, if I'm there it's for the hot food bar or their coffee game.

Being a real hippie such as myself I grown my own organic fruits in vegetables ! Then I sell them to Whole Foods for a tidy profit.

I share my profit with other local hippies to support the community.

When you share the wealth everyone wins...well expect for you cause you are broke as *** !

But you feel good and that is all that counts.
