Since I know I'll get plenty of support for saying this...
I'm really growing tired of the blogs and pseudo-news articles on Huffington Post. I rarely read whatever the equivalent conservative site would be, but I fear it may be the same: really arrogant and self-important people trying to pretend their own navel-gazing deep thoughts are true for everyone or, worse still, that everyone should do as they do.
Telling people to stifle about their coming out stories or writing a sarcastic and condescending post about using your autistic kid to get out of social obligations... just ugh. I wouldn't care if this was on someone's LiveJournal or Blogspot or whatever the hell the kids use these days, but this notion of "news bloggers" has gone rather a bit too far, even if it is very much in the same tradition as the editorial page of the newspaper. It's the editorial page of the newspaper, without the newspaper.
