Correct. It can also take on the meanings of *** or ***.
Puta madre if literally translated means *** mother. However, no one ever interprets it as that. It's always interpreted as ***, ***, mother *** or dammit.

Lol. I'm pretty sure one of the rules for soccer/football stadiums is "don't try to kill each other", but that's panned out well so far, hasn't it? And when a large section of fans is chanting something offensive, what are they going to do? Kick all of them out? Good luck.
