Google is bringing up literally nothing for Mtoubel, and if you Google "mtoubel hummus" you get this exact thread and page. And Sabra's website (a retail hummus/dip brand in the U.S.).

It basically looks like hummus with a bit of additional...something. Frankly it looks like hummus and cottage cheese to me. Is there some sort of curdled dairy aspect there?

Humus is made with chickpeas and Mtoubel with eggplant.
Mtoubel is like a hickory smokey flavor/version of humus.

Ohhhh. Eggplant.

You can find it in the U.S., albeit it's not nearly as prolific as hummus has become in the mainstream. It's called baba ghanoush!

Wiki with some evidence of the link between the two confirming it. "The Egyptian version, known in the Levant as mutabbal."

Gotta agree with Ravael on this lol.. Baba Ghanoush sounds like the HQ version of Capricious Cassie or Voluptuous Vivian.

Mtoubel, do you mtoubel?

Is another word for "eggplant," or used to describe the color of purple representative of eggplants.

Edit: BUT. "Gram, Bengal gram, garbanzo, or garbanzo bean, and sometimes Egyptian pea, ceci, cece, or chana, or Kabuli chana" are all synonyms for chickpeas.

I think if you try to fry eggs with Marzipan you should be sure you never want to use that particular cookwear again. Or buy some steel wool.

That bit about no music in the middle east cracked me up, considering im from the middle east and work with some of the biggest musicians in the world lol.
And why am I ignorant to you again? Is it because I don't believe in your god? Or the failed assumption that I remotely said anything close about there being no music in the middle east?

Hint: I did not.

It was actually me that first stated that parts of the middle east do not allow public singing or dancing.

I heard this from TV news sources. Whether or not those sources tell the truth is something I do not know.

It doesn't matter. This is coming from the guy who states that he's been in more places in America than I have, him being from somewhere other than America and highly likely to never have left his country.

And he calls me ignorant.

I have heard that sandwiches can be racist because some cultures don't eat the same kind of bread or don't eat bread at all...
And this somehow equates to oppression if you eat a sandwich in the company of such a person. (Ironically it would be the "oppressor" that gets denied their sandwich)

Also I'm pretty sure the story had to be satire. But some people took it to heart and actually now believe this nonsense.

I guess anything can be offencive if people really try to make it be so.

Some people here on this site will no doubt agree that sandwiches are oppressive in some way... I really hope not, but it would not surprise me one little bit.

Is this really the kind of world we want to live in?
