Is the Tea Party Making a Comeback?
They also like killing police officers in CiCi's Pizza then killing customers in Wal-Mart and obviously themselves. Turned out those two were Tea Partiers.

Forgot democrats don't go on mass killing sprees. Glad you pointed that out and totally derailed the thread /clap yeah, lets get back to talking about the humiliation of the #2 republican in the House.
The deailment only happens if you let it.
Besides I pointed out a valid reason why there is need for the GoP to distance itself from the name as well as the group itself consider a name change. Democrats havent been blowing federal buildings in the last 20yrs either. Can say what you want about Democrats but the left wing nut jobs aren't as big of a threat to the general well being of American society as the right wing nut jobs. Whoever controls the House next year, I would count on a new Speaker. Boehner and Cantor are probably the weakest leadership team ever, and with one out the door completely, the other will quickly follow.
God lets hope not. last thing we need is the tea party

![]() The tea party is another diversionary tactic and a tool used to divide and conquer the American people while the super rich quickly seize the power we the public are rapidly losing Shiva.Viciousss said: » Whoever controls the House next year, I would count on a new Speaker. Trey Gowdy will be house speaker, senate majority leader would be Rand Paul until he is elected president in 2016. Lakshmi.Zerowone said: » The deailment only happens if you let it. Highly doubt that will happen. see the problem here is that the officials that were already in DC hijacked the tea party name. 99% of tea partiers don't like most of the politicians in DC. the tea party has been portrayed as a bunch of rednecks which isn't true, there are quite a few but redneck doesn't mean ignorant or stupid. a vast majority tea partiers want a government that follows the constitution and puts Americans first. our government has been stepping on our constitutional rights for more than 60 years. they want to get rid of the collusion between special interests, government and major corporations. media has portrayed them as gun toting ignorant fools. don't believe everything the media tells you, they have their own agenda.

And those nasty, nasty hippies from Occupy Wall Street that caused millions of dollars of damage and losses to local businesses when they held a week long rape orgy in NYC. Damn hippies!
The Koch brothers invest in the Tea Party.
That's all you need to know to know that the Tea Party is about one thing. Keeping all the money where it is; in the hands of rich, white, elitist jerks. I'm sure lot of people who consider themselves members of the Tea Party don't even realize that. Many of them really think they're somehow pushing for defense of the constitution or the rights of the masses; they think they're actually pushing a good concept. But they're really just supporting politicians who will keep the best interests of the financial elite at the forefront of policy. Every major political party has a habit of keeping the money with the rich and elite.

Quote: AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Canada-born U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz has made good on a promise to renounce his birth country's citizenship — doing so amid speculation he could make a run at the White House in 2016. Spokeswoman Catherine Frazier said Cruz's action became official May 14 and that Texas' junior senator received written confirmation at his home in Houston on Tuesday. She said the tea-party-backed Republican "is pleased to have the process finalized." "Being a U.S. Senator representing Texas, it makes sense he should be only an American citizen," Frazier said in an email. Cruz, 43, was born in Calgary, Alberta, in 1970, while his parents were working in the oil business there. His mother, Eleanor, is from Delaware, while his father, Rafael, is a Cuban became a U.S. citizen in 2005. Though he has been in office only about 18 months, Cruz helped lead last year's partial government shutdown and has become a conservative grass-roots champion. And now he's going to make a bid for president? Can't wait for the new birther movement on this guy. Phoenix.Amandarius said: » Lakshmi.Zerowone said: » The deailment only happens if you let it. Stack's political affiliation was never determined. He had an issue with the Bush administration selling out to financial elite. You know who else had that same issue? The Tea Party. Also Stack was born and raised in PA and moved to TX. Doesnt really sound like a Democrat more like a Midwest Republican. The tea party never went away to begin with.
Hopefully this sends a big enough message to the RINOs and liberals in the republican party. Amnesty = job loss! Bismarck.Ramyrez said: » The Koch brothers invest in the Tea Party. Nice to see that there are people on this website that still think for themselves. Thank you for reminding me there is still hope Here's a new analysis:
Quote: As the president famously reminded Cantor, "elections have consequences," a lesson the Virginia Republican surely knows this morning more than any other. But aside from his humiliating defeat — no sitting House majority leader has lost since 1899 — there is a silver lining: At least Cantor can now partake in the jobless benefits and food stamps that he fought so long and hard for. But all jokes aside (Cantor is in no danger of going on food stamps, I assure you), the White House probably won't gain much from Cantor's loss. It's not like the seat is really in play now — the winner of the GOP primary, the Tea Partier Dave Brat, will be favored in Virginia's deep red 7th District. With his probable win in November, the House GOP could move even further to the right than it is now. It's hard to believe an uber-conservative like Cantor isn't right-wing enough for the GOP, but there you go. So if you think Barack Obama has trouble dealing with House Republicans now, you haven't seen anything yet. Not only is the GOP favored to pick up an additional five to eight House seats in November — adding to its 233-199 majority (there are three current vacancies) — it could also pick up four to eight more Senate seats. A gain of six would give the Republicans a majority. Believe it or not, the next Congress could be even more obstructionist than it is now. Obama began his political career in his living room. How about the throngs of left wing nuts that destroy every city the G8 meets in? Obstructionist congresses at the end of the day are a waste of tax payer money. They don't get ***done outside of witty soundbite zingers that idiots eat up and we end up paying for it all.

If you take your average worker, working 40 hours a week in their given profession, making a normal wage (we'll say $50k/year, though that's probably way higher than average, but we'll be generous). I'm absolutely positive that any executive who earns $500,000/yr isn't doing 10x the work of that average worker. Let alone when you add in stocks and benefits that the worker likely isn't getting. And that's being awfully frugal in my estimate of what this executive is making. Your definition of "earn" is the problem.
