Archmage Petasos +1 Vs. Hagondes Hat +1

For the sake of "what's best", we'll say that you have a +30 MAB augment on the Hagondes Hat +1. Which would be better for AM2 nuking, provided you have 5/5 on that particular spell? I'm sure I could crunch the numbers and figure it out, but someone might know off the top just how much MAB you need to match that +15% damage increase.

Why are you still casting AM?

AM II allegedly has static hate properties which make it extremely useful if using it in something like Delve to wipe aura(when you don't have Subtle Sorcery to rely on)

Speaking of gear in general what is the Best Gear for DD nukes?? im curious cuz all the i119 gear is mostly Ele skill i dont see many people wearing it so are they good or?? im tryuign to be oen those 1k2k stone 1 blms lol but im just not pulling the same numbers as some.... most got on skirmish gear. what are your thoughts?

Skrimish with MAB augments in Head/Body/Legs, Otomi with INT and Umbani Feet should still be the best if you're not worried about resists and just trying to spam Stone I on Reives or something.

Reforged AF/Relic, Artsieq, or even Skrimish with MAcc augment become pretty valuable if you're trying to fill the magic damage roll in Delve, though.

Same set. Umbani aren't beaten by Hagondes under any scenario or augment value. Hagondes Cuffs can beat Otomi with INT augment if you get +25 or so MAB on them.

Edit: Max Hagondes feet can be better for AM/AM2 should you be using those.
