Should There Be A Library Named After Obama?

If they named a free-way intersection and library after George W. Bush in Dallas-Fort Worth I see no reason why not Obama.

That's the least/most that should be done for Obama. He is certainly no Clinton or Reagan.

I think there should be a library named after Obama and I think that library should be empty just like promises of hope he gave to us.

It'll be empty because Americans are don't read anyway.

Clinton has a library also, and there used to be bullet holes in the "Welcome to Hope! Home of President Bill Clinton." sign in Hope, Arkansas in the 90's.

Clinton is overrated as he presided over an unprecedented upswell in prosperity in America and signed a bunch of legislation that deregulated the hell out of everything that led to our ditch in the road later on.

Honestly with or without Obama we'd still be drinking ***soup unless you think Romney has magic powers to go with the magic underwear. Obama has been mediocre and will be remembered cause he was the first not-white dude to roll El Presidente and that's fine. Obamacare will most likely shake out and be what he's remembered for alongside all the intense derping we've had Congress collecting checks for.

I'm also fine with him cockblocking President McCain and Romney from happening. Sarah Palin going down in history as Vice President? I can only imagine some scholar facepalming in 2167 if that did happen.

I think both Southern Methodist and University of Texas have libraries and departments(i think?) named after George W. Bush....

I personally associate a library with knowledge/learning and no president belongs in the same sentence as those terms.

Reagan has a prestigious university hospital named after him, it's quite insulting that a man who *** up during the 80's HIV/AIDS crisis has a hospital named after him, specifically since that institution is a leader in HIV/AIDS research.

I vaguely remember that but it still makes no sense for a monster like Andrew Jackson to be on arguably the most popularly used currency in the country for the sake of a running joke. Thomas Jefferson being on the defunct 2 dollar bill is more entertaining than that.

Jackson doesn't deserve the honor. It's like JFK being on the half-dollar but who actually uses half dollars.
