The blame for the shutdown lays squarely on Boehner and the Tea Party idiots in the House that he bent over for, and the credit for ending the shutdown and averting a default will go to Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell. Just like last time.

Don't forget Eric Cantor.. he's always good for blames.

There are no moderates. Any nuanced answers regarding the President, Congress or Government in general are just excuses designed to cloak Democrats from any blame. You love Obama, you love the ACA, you want to see our country fail and you are a communist. Independents are just secret Democrats who hate children, are communists, hate America and are nothing other than freeloaders who haven't read the Constitution.

Republicans however on the other hand are the one true solution to our societies ills and with the righteous sword of capitalism, they cut through the darkness of communism. Born in the core of a dying star, Republicans have done nothing but solve our self-inflicted problems and like true Americans only want to see a glorious golden age brought to our chosen land once more.

If you didn't know, Jesus was a Republican and you bet your Bible that he clung to his God and carpenter's tools when those Roman communists tried to raise taxes on his small business. Before giving his life for us all, he drafted the Constitution and left it in the hands of our Republican, Christian Founders who crafted a utopia before communists ruined everything.

Why? Reid and the Senate did their job, they passed a bill to fund the gov't before the Oct 1 deadline. Job. Done. Boehner shut it down. Job. Still. Not done.

Two sides A and B. If A doesn't go along with what B wants the government shuts down. If B doesn't do what A wants the government shuts down. You cannot just blame the Republicans, it's foolish, beyond reason and logic.

In your world we all do what the Democratic majority in the Senate wants, all the time. There aren't two houses of Congress, there is the Senate Democratic majority. Compromise is do what they want or the government shuts down and it's your fault.

Boehner passed several bills before the October 1 deadline to fund the government, Reid didn't even bring those bills into the Senate. Still Boehner's fault?

I'm not blaming the entire GOP, I'm blaming Boehner and the Tea Party idiots in the House. There are over 20 Republicans in the House that wanted Boehner to put the Senate bill to a vote on September 30th and avoid the shutdown. They even tried to stage a revolt in order to bypass the Speaker and force the bill to a vote. They are not at fault and not being blamed. Done yet?

I'm honestly curious why this topic hasn't got more screen time. I want a variety of news programs and I haven't seen it once. Moreover, why haven't any of the AP reporters at these little press junkets asked the speaker or any of the ranking members of the house rules committee about this change?

I don't understand media in America, I don't understand the bias toward sensationalism, the bias toward fairness, the omission of facts that clearly point a very different set of ethics between these two parties, and how the Tea Party has such a stranglehold on public opinion.

It just broke over the weekend when van Hollen discovered it and called them out on it. A lot of the liberal sites are really running with it, CNN just reported it today, and unsurprisingly, the story is no where to be found on foxnews.
