right so we inch another day closer to my three week shut down prediction... thanks to nbc for helping us all to remember that there is a shutdown... it's columbus day btw if you were wondering if perhaps the postman didn't come today because of the shutdown, the answer is no, he is just observing one of the eighty seven holidays he gets that we don't....

So it's day 14. do you want to grab an ice pick every time you here the word "shutdown" yet? how about "furlough'? or "fiscal cliff"? maybe "sequester"? or perhaps even "deadlock"? how about "Crisis in Washington"?

I'm not 100% but I think it's all over except for the face saving exit strategy...

Its going to be just like the last budget "crisis." A senate bill gets passed with 70+ votes and Boehner has to go against his own party and get it through the House with Dem support. The Tea Party will kick and scream and Cantor will vote against it again but it will pass. Or Boehner will default us, either way this is the end for his career.
