Thanks. I see JP servers but glad I'm not the only one.. starting to think that SE is separating players based by their IP.
yea I have been unable to log on all day, and now it says all NA/eu servers down for me, im on ps3
This is a major issue that has been brought up maaaaany times now and there are several posts on lodestone and official forums from Yoshida talking about it.
ok this is ridiculous... finishing main quest <15% Boss hp.. then BAM connection to server lost.. tried to log back in and "Unable to update NA/EU list"...good thing this is still free otherwise I would refund my month pay.
People need to chill~

Yea, I'm getting a 2002 this morning.. Got booted and can't log back in.
Glad that they have so much interest in the game that they are flooded... I just hope that they figure out how to fix it instead of hoping it goes away if they ignore it. (Like all their problems)

Just woke up, getting the same error.
We should form an official complaint against SE, this is beyond stupid, all of this should have been fixed yesterday, game has been out for like 4 days now. I would not mind them shutting down the servers for 3 days to fix this so everyone doesn't have an issue logging in EVERY TIME they want to play.

Yes it is stupid but it is same on JP servers.
I am new to ff14 just brought the game today and was making my new character and all eu/na servers are full only na cactuar was available o.0 I am from the eu hmm wonder if should wait for eu server to be free or try the game out on na server or even jp servers..
They will be adding more servers next week (new NA servers for sure and presumably EU servers) so if you really want to wait for an EU server you would have to wait a few days more. May as well wait a few days anyway since if you didn't keep yourself logged on there is no way you are gonna be able to log on now that its the weekend.

How can people be getting this mad? seriously, they're having issues and they're trying to fix them.
It's amazing how so many people don't have a sympathetic bone in their body, or can't be understanding about the situation. All they see is red and hate.

Error 9000'd in the middle of manor boss, now NA/EU servers are non-existent. I'm not really sure if it should be classified as pure red-rage... it's more of an major inconvenience and pretty disappointing. Now I'm unsure if my sense-less hours of relogging and clicking insert will prove to be fruitful or not, as it was not yesterday. I know they're trying to fix it, but it's still a bit ridiculous to not get mad at all, right?
Considering everyone paid at least 30 bucks minumum to play a game they aren't allowed to even log in to yes I do believe it is not unreasonable to get angry or at least annoyed. How you deal with that anger though is another matter.

Excuse me for wanting to play a game that I paid for. During the betas I fully understood that all sorts of things could happen, but they couldn't have thought,
"well gee we had x amount of players on the p4 beta, but we sold triple the amount in pre-orders."
"Meh *** it the same amount of servers should sufice."
I completely supported SE during the betas on maintenance and shutting down servers to fix so this wouldn't happen on the release so don't give me that sympathy crap.

I don't really mind having to wait a while in a queue to get into the game... what I do mind is having to keep clicking to maybe get into the queue to wait to get into the game.
I can live with not even being able to play half of beta because of "still logged in". I can even live with having multiple emergency maintenance events during early access / just after official release. At least those are known "we're fixing things".
I'm not at raging but I am at severely frustrated because this is what I want to be doing, and while it's up I can't be doing it!
Also the major lag in the official forums is a pain as well. can't even really get on there to read responses.

It's not going to change the situation, it's not going to make them upgrade their data center any faster so they can meet the demand.
It's your choice to ruin your own mood. They are doing maintenance and these issues they're having will be fixed in the next couple of days.
SE doesn't have the money to overshoot, they made a guess of how many players were going to play, and they were wrong. They're now upgrading the servers to meet the demand, that's as simple as it gets.
It's not going to change the situation, it's not going to make them upgrade their data center any faster so they can meet the demand.

You can understand the situation SE is in, be sympathetic, but still be angry. Is it their fault? Somewhere between maybe a probably... I'm sure a sizable amount of people probably didn't pre-order until after the 4th beta. I'm even betting they had an 'oh ***we're undercapacity to handle this' moment before the servers went live for (pre-)launch. I'm sure it's not as simple as changing a max users setting in an .ini file on the server.
But of course I'm angry. I paid for the game... a shiny new game I'm excited about playing.

Well the biggest thing is they are trying to fix the problem.
