NM TRIALS MAKE ME WANNA STAB A PUPPY! I had no problem with the preceding NM trials. An hour or two of waiting between predictable spawn times is nothing compared to what I estimated to be 16-22 hours of raw mob grinding. You can make lunch or watch a movie between NM pops.
At least after the Peiste the 45 damage Scythe will be turned into something usable, OAT, and 'Dragons' includes Puks, and the sheer numbers go back down by the time I get to Buffalo.

I haven't gotten around to doing any of the trials... Guess that's what happens when you're on a mage heavy server and happen to be a mage.... <.<

That is another part of it for me. Where it stands now my only 75 is still 75 because I am too burnt out to bother meriting it at all.

Every path continued upgrading so far. Not a single one has 'dead ended' in a manner that would make it obsolete come the next level-uncapping. The only real issue has been the requirements for the Empyrean weapons, which are purely asinine.
"I'll do them at 99" is a weak excuse when the weapons can not only help you now but will save you that much time getting to the next stage when it turns out to be 'must have' awesome.
You may be out of the loop, so heres a neat tidbit:
SE listened, and the Magian Elemental staves now carry separate names for each element so you can macro them. They also exceed lv51 staves in either manner you pick (magic damage or magic accuracy, while still providing a good boost to the other).

*shrug* I solo'd blm most of the way to 75, was planning on soloing it if I took it any further.
I'm leaning more towards finding a different game to play at this point though. Or another server jump. Something.

I am well aware it is considered in demand again, doesn't make me want to level it any time in the near future.
I'm also on a mage heavy server, and *hate* rdm, so it isn't leveled up very far.

I think you should just quit already if you're going to intentionally overlook some of the largest improvements to your job (far more so than any single piece of gear in the last five years or so).
Its a rough sentiment, but as soon as I saw DRK getting a nonrelic weapon with over 100 damage I shat brix and nixed my quitting plans.

I guess I could say Trials are a nice change of pace after you cap out 10+1 merits in Abyssea two nights in a row. Sure its only shifting the timesink, but most of the time you don't need anyone else to get anywhere on Trials (I guess its a bit like soloing BLM then, heh).
I'm all toasty and itchy from intentionally putting myself in the sun today.

Since we all can't be on the same linkshell in game, this can be our cross server linkshell thread.
Like most linkshells, it can be pretty dead at times. Other times it's full of intense conversations about either rl, gear, goals, pokemon or anything else you want to contribute.
We can cover any sort of topic at all, within reason of the forum rules. No real main topic, just a bunch of FFXIAH friends/people coming on and discussing random things.

Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
