Row, backreading over what you just said, I cannot emphasise enough how important it is that you do not take advice from w/e program it was that tells you to do this "insanity" workout.
Taking an unfit person and forcing them into an intense workout in heart rate zones you have probably never experienced before only ever leads to injury or worse, you need to make a plan and start gradually, building up your fitness, strength, stamina etc over time. You don't learn to swim by jumping in at the deep end do you?
I can advise you on anything you want to know about nutrition and fitness from my years competing as an athlete, the most important thing you need to do before you even touch a treadmill is accept that to get into and stay in shape you need to be willing to put in the hard work and discipline yourself accordingly, because unfortunately it doesn't happen overnight, there is no quick way to achieving physical goals, but if you put in the time you will get the results =)

Back when i lifted twice a day and ran 1 mile or more for football, those workouts still kicked my ***, for you having never been a physical person in your life it's not healthy.
Edit: Sagi's deep end reference wasn't a good one though. When I was like 3 I stumbled into the pool and have been swimming ever since lol
