EDIT: I'm not rewriting all that ***.... tl;dr version. FFXI has killed my mmo spirit and is more like a job now than anything, after it dies I'm prolly done, I don't see FF14 holding my attention.

Dude, I spent $800 on one that would run most anything at the time on max(except crysis, *** that game) about a year or so ago. Now FF14 rapes my pc, I can only run minimum settings, 1800 score is ***. :(

I spent 600 on my current laptop and it can run Crysis on Very High at 30 FPS. Supposedly someone with a score of 800 on the Benchmark runs the beta at 30 FPS on low settings too, so most computers, I'm sure, can at least do that.

Half of me wants to stick around, dual box, play all the classes and have fun with them, finish the mission storylines and take that all in and hopefully record them with software so I can look back on them like a movie for when nostalgia strikes me.
The other half just says it's not worth it and XIV looks so awesome, just wait for that and stop wasting my money lol.

About a year ago while I was locked out of my account for that whole time, I tried every free mmo out there before I "settled"(lol) for WoW until I got account back. NONE of the free mmos were worth a ***.. but I admit FFXI has just ruined me, it was either FFXI or gtfo.
Any new ones out worth a ***?

I don't think I could ever go back to WoW. I pretty much quested/dungeon ran my way to 60ish and got bored/lost in the outlands and said *** it.
Just not my cup of tea in the end.

2Moons is the only free MMO that I've actually tried, but it's almost a borderline actual game. They (Acclaim) were planning on releasing it as a full-fledged MMO but scrapped it and gave it to some other company to finish, so it has actual in-depth elements and stuff that keeps it interesting, but it was taken over by a Korean company so it still sort of looks and feels like a lot of free MMOs around.
I heard Fantasy Earth Zero sucked major balls. Can anyone give testimony to this?
