I kind of lump AF and AF+1 together so whatever about that. Yes, mp is a concern, because normally you go back and forth from idle a lot so if it's constantly cutting off the top of your mp it's not good. You tend to start fights in an idle set so if your mp is cut off, you'll essentially never have that amount. As for curing, it's not a super huge concern but it's there because it happens now and again. It's probably also a holdover from when blm used to party and had to heal on occasion. I also generally stun in my idle set with a few swaps for dark skill.

I dont feel like quoting the 2nd part but mp is not a concern and I generally dont even use an idle set... my nukes tend to come hard and fast or Im running or im resting. Even NQ weskit on a galka should get you more dmg AND about the same macc not to mention some conserve mp. hmmm as far as 320 goes idk let me do the math... start with 276+16merits for a base of 292 use this item set... http://www.ffxiah.com/members/?q=item_sets&set_id=79684 for another 15 and 2 macc swap out the MAB gloves for af and its another 15 so that would put me at ~324 skill. I have base 81 int so that gear set would also put me at 123 no food. Now yes this is only for ice spells Id lose 5int 10 skill without it... Im still pretty damn close to the 320/120 build and I can live with 7% resist rate instead of 5% to do more dmg. If I get HQ body which I should soon even better. MKE head piece will afford me even more dmg and more macc. And if I really needed a little more macc well putting on torque would actually get me just as much since Im swaping out 3 int vs losing 6 on head.

Well since you brought up 320/120, if you just want that ratio then the tradeoff is 10skill/10int vs 6int/5skill which is pretty good. Lose a little bit of dmg but for pure resists it should be better.
I actually don't personally worry about 320/120 too much, especially since all the little magic acc pieces that have popped up since that ratio first started getting used skew it a little.
Maybe it's just because you're a taru so you don't concern yourself with stuff like MP or you just look at things differently. I also don't really know what you tend to use your blm for. Sure refresh is refresh, but refresh + mp + -enmity will always be better than just refresh.

Well I just assume 1macc=1skill which is close enough...
I Dont actually ussually follow the 320/120 though cept on highly resistant mobs... but really for most I wear the set I showed so really only like 309 skill lol but 5 more MAB... that tends to work out fine most the time. If I had some better gear slots... well Im still working on stuff lol but yeah. If I could ever get a auerole... I dont think Id ever wear any gear for just the +skill.
As far as what I do with blm... mostly soloing puddings and dynamis for now... but I used to have to come as it whenver we fought gods or tier 3/4 ZNMs and limbus alot lol. So generally speaking the only time my mp is near full is if it got filled somehow
