I've only seen it drop once and since no one was on it it was free. Not sure if DEX affects ranged crit rate, and even if it did it's not worth sacrificing an entire leg piece for a slight increase, especially since ranged crit hits are calculated much lower than melee crit hits.
Only time I can see them being of use is for kited HNMs with a Culverin setup for big WS power, since it's costly to shoot cannons over bullets for TP. Or if you have relic gun. Has some heavy DEX mods too.

The friend could just have other jobs lvled, getting any DD to lvl 7 is pretty easy, lol.

Also, I'm pretty sure the item can still drop as the check for the drop shouldn't occur until the mob actually drops dead. One easy way to test would be with TK or some other pop item.

Well ya learn something new every day. Didn't know DEX affected ranged crit hit rate. However, I still wouldn't sacrifice leg piece for +DEX for RNG.

Actually, from what I'm reading DEX doesn't affect ranged crit. I think rngs I've talked to have also mentioned that wearing haidate doesn't do jack for their crit.
Always can be used as an utsu piece though, lol

Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
