Try to call her, no answer. I go pick up some alcohol because that's what you do when you turn 21. I get a text from her saying work called her in and she has to stay late and she'd call me when she got off. Well I ended up passing out on my bed dressed and ready to go out, wake up around 2am, check my phone, nothing.
Come to find out she got off work an hour after I did and went with some co-workers to a bar.

Try to call her, no answer. I go pick up some alcohol because that's what you do when you turn 21. I get a text from her saying work called her in and she has to stay late and she'd call me when she got off. Sounds like my 22nd birthday minus being stood up. Worked all *** day long, didn't get any happy birthday wishes or txt messages from anyone and all I got from anyone was a pair of jeans that weren't my size. Awesome.

D: That's just not right. Worse than my 21st for sure. Sorry it was that shitty.
Turned 21 in a dry country during a deployment. Came back and all my friends got stationed somewhere else so I drank alone for awhile.
