Using a set like this makes your Scholar pretty "idiot-proof" as a healer and buffer. It's actually surprisingly hard to take hate in this set in practice, even spamming AoE -na spells and Cure IV, which is a spell most WHMs are told to avoid due to hate issues. You can see the effectiveness of this set yourself in Campaign by just using Accession Cure IV on NPCs.

Weather it was a good peice or not wasn't the discussion either. It was weather there was better things too get... not to mention roundel cost an arm and a leg and probably still owe some
getting the -7% and -3% earrings arent that fun neither.
You can't get a better earring to heal in, but I'd only get it if it was the last thing I needed to upgrade, since the 3mil (rough price when I left) could go into improving other stuff first.
why pay 3m for ONE piece when you can spend it on other pieces that are useful and cheaper?
